Golf is always fun at the lovely Jack O'Lantern Resort Golf Course during the season! This townhome is located at the famous JackOLantern Resort & Golf Course. This is an 18 hole golf course located on the banks of the Pemigewasset River, perfect for picturesque strolls. The river is in our backyard pratically. A moose has been spotted on occasion from our golf course area which backs into a wooded forest area then leads to the river. You can watch the golfers putt from the first fairway right from our townhome while they cannot see you!! It is that private and wonderful!
Winter lends itself to fun outdoor sports while retrieving into a cozy, warm, three bedroom plus loft, two bath townhome - sleeps up to six adults and 4 children. There are two generous and very comfortable California king-size beds for your enjoyment.
The Townhome is decorated for the golfer in mind - lots of wonderful photos of golf courses... some corners are tucked with stain glass lighthouses and garden photos in the living room - finds from our travels past! The living room is comfortable with its ample wood fireplace and beautiful oak mantle. There are two High Definition TV's one in lvg. room and the other in Master Room. Provided are an assortment of DVD's for the DVD players. There are two outdoor porches perfect for
relaxing while admiring mountains or cozying up for rest and relaxation (R&R) or running out to the spacious backyard for yet another snow fight or in the spring/summer a game of croquet perhaps(Croquet provided for your enjoyment). A perfect location for anytime of year! Perfect for families as we have small children and are children friendly!! A crib could be made available.
The first floor has a master room with a very comfortable California king size bed, and two chairs which are situated near the outdoor sun patio which, of course, is on the golf course! This bedroom has a jetted tub. Also, on the first floor is the living room with an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. There is a 3-season porch, screened in, off the living room where you can sit and watch the White Mountains. Perfect for quiet reading time. The kitchen is fully equipped and nicely decorated. The dining area and laundry room and another full size bath are also located on the first floor. There is an additional room nicely decorated with a queen size bed on the first floor. This bedroom has superb views of the White Mountains!
The second floor contains one genrous California king size(sleeps 2 adults and one small child) bed with a twin bed in the bedroom with an adjacent loft area. The bedroom has a T.V./VCR. Bring your old VCR tapes for this bedroom. The loft has three twin size beds. A great spot for the kids. Some games available for kids.
There are three T.V's - one in the loft bedroom, downstairs Master bedroom(HD 18'), and living room(HD 27') Lots of privacy areas! DVD players available, limited availability of DVD's. Could rent some nearby. Our front door affords lovely views of the White Mountains. We are very close to the pool and recreation game room. New indoor pool and jacuzzi available this mid-Dec. or sooner. The townhome has been freshly painted this summer season so please take extra care especially if children are in your party.
There is a locked area on the porch of the townhome for ski or golf equipment. The clubhouse area has an outdoor heated pool. Jacuzzi as well as an indoor heated pool are new as of this mid-Dec. or sooner. Enjoy the game room (pool table, ping pong, and other games). In the summer there is a small play-yard for the children by the outdoor heated pool. Don't forget a round of golf(Spring, Summer, or early Fall) too or lunch at the Jack O'Lantern Golf Grille restaurant. Everything you would desire is on the premises -accommodations, food, golf, and a clubhouse with amenities.
Snowmobile lovers you can take corridor trail 11 right from the site all the way to Lincoln. Cross country skiers go to exit 31 for many beautiful vista's all the way to Waterville Valley.
There are two mountains near for skiing. They are about 10-20 minutes: 10 minutes to Loon and 20 minutes to Waterville. The ski pkgs. we offer reward you with a very good discount. The Jack O'Lantern Golf Course is your view from the back and the White Mountains are your views from the front - no neighbors in front!
