MV Vacation House

I was there with four 19 year old boys. We had a great time. The house was very relaxing, clean and efficient. It was a good value. The size was about right. Neighborhood was likewise wonderful with easy access to the bike path, beach and Edgartown. Only problem I had was getting my deposit back from the owner. I am sure the house was rented for several weeks after we used it, so I could not see the logic of the delay especially since my deposit had to get to the landlord promptly before we could move forward with our vacation plans. It took about two months after we left to get my deposit back, and it had to be sent to my sister's who I was visiting in Colorado. In the confusion, the deposit got lost, but that was not the fault of the landlord. However, if I got the deposit in NJ before September, it would have been smoother. I would have no qualms about renting this house again, or taking it for a longer time on a monthly basis. I am sure the landlord would be leary in renting it to people with small children / young teenagers in terms of wear and tear. I have been to MV at least 12 times, and this house was one of the best values I've seen there.
