Brand New Beautifully Furnished Apartment Overlooking The Pool

This brand new 3 bedroom luxury apartment is on the first floor and is fully air conditioned, climatically controlled for heat and cold to suit all seasons. The large terrace overlooks the private pool and a beautiful sub tropical garden, perfect for al fresco dining and enjoying the afternoon sun.

Relax in real comfort in the spacious open plan living area, sink into the leather sofas and watch TV on the new 42' flat screen HD TV & Blue ray DVD. (To view Sky Channels clients own card required) or listen to your favourite music channels or radio stations through the state of the art built in music system individually controlled in each bedroom and living areas. There is also free Wifi so you can keep in touch with home or the office or view UK TV channels through the internet.

There is a dining table to seat 6 and the spacious granite-topped kitchen is well equipped with double oven and ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge freezer and washing machine. Kitchen utensils and appliances are included. The breakfast bar separates the kitchen and living area.

Leading off from the living area there are 3 bedrooms all furnished to a superb standard, one with twin beds, the other 2 rooms featuring king size beds. Large sliding door wardrobes provide plenty of space for your clothes. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi bath. The family bathroom has a large walk in shower. Both the double rooms have their own private balconies with sea views to the distance.

This property is fully registered with the Portuguese local authorities & Tourist Board under the Alojamento Local private holiday rental system (ref nº 193/2014) so you can be assured it meets the strict criteria with regard to safety and standard of facilities provided.

When booking this apartment for your holiday you can have total peace of mind as the Luso Living team, who will manage your booking, are based in the Algarve and are on hand to meet you with the keys to the property and provide assistance throughout your stay. Even for the most experienced traveller it’s always nice to have a friendly face or someone to call should you need assistance.

We know that when booking your holiday you may have questions or special requests so here you find full details regarding payments, check in & check out and travel details to your chosen accomodation. We think we have thought of everything but if you have any specific requests or queries please do not hesitate to contact us.

How much deposit do I need to pay ?

We will require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If you are booking within 8 weeks of departure full payment will be requested on booking.

How can I pay for my accommodation ?

You can pay in euros by bank transfer or in sterling via a UK currency exchange account . If it’s easier we can arrange payment by paypal or credit card online however this payment method will incurr a small transaction fee .

What is the security deposit for and how do I get it back ?

You will be required to pay a 200 euro security deposit along with your final balance to cover for any damage to the property or contents. A broken glass is not the end of the world and won’t be charged for, however the owner has to have peace of mind that their property will be well looked after by guests. The deposit will be returned, by the same method payment received, within 7 days of your departure once the apartment has been checked over.

Can you help me arrange an airport transfer to my apartment ?

Yes. You can prebook your private taxi or minibus & your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall to take you straight to your accomodation -no waiting around in the taxi queue or for other guests. Just send us your travel details & we’ll do the rest.

Our low rates include baby/booster seats if required & there is no extra surcharge for late night or early pick ups. We’ll send you a voucher in advance & you just pay the driver on arrival.

Can you help with car hire & driving directions ?

Yes , just use the search engine on our lusoliving.com website page to find the best rates available from local & national car hire companies. We can send you detailed directions to your accomodation but note if visiting the Algarve in July or August you will need to book as far in advance as possible as rates increase sharply and cars are scarce to find at the last minute.

How do I get my keys to the apartment ?

We will meet you at the apartment to give you the keys and help you settle in unless other arrangements are made in advance of booking. You will need to text or call our contact number 00 351 918 541 794 on leaving Faro airport so we can make sure we are there in time when you arrive.

We will monitor your flight arrival time on-line so don’t worry if it is delayed we won’t leave without you. For arrivals after 01.00am, including flight delays, there will be a 20€ surcharge.

What time can I get into the apartment ?

Check in is from 15 hrs, however we will always try to give you access before then when possible. This will depend on the time of year and whether the apartment has just been vacated and is still in the process of being cleaned.

If the apartment is not ready you will be able to leave your luggage while you have a coffee or lunch or even take the kids to the pool to start your holiday asap.

If I arrive late will there be somewhere to get something to eat/drink ?

For late arrivals we can arrange a welcome pack to be left in your apartment.

If you have young children and require extra items such as baby food or nappies we will be happy to assist on request. There is an Iceland supermarket and many UK brands are available but we do require a min notice of 5 days.

We have young children –can we book a cot / highchair ?

Yes we can provide an extra bed, cot or highchair if required. Please note they must be booked in advance.

What about cleaning & maid service ?

The apartment will be clean, ready for your arrival and there are clean sheets & towels provided in the apartment. Included in the price for a 14 night stay is a mid stay change of bed linen & towels. If extra cleaning is required you may request & pay in resort.

What time do I have to leave the apartment ?

On departure, the checkout time is at 11am, however we can be flexible depending on the next arrival due. We will let you know nearer your departure date if it’s possible to stay longer – there will be a 10€ per hour surcharge for late check outs.

Perfect apartment for family vacation

We stayed at a 3 bdr apartment with a huge balcony which served as a perfect playground for our little one and for us to have a meal outside. The condo is situated in a quiet residential area, within walking distance to praia do Porto do Mos and Dona Ana. The apartment was sparkling clean and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities you need even for a longer stay. We felt like home from the moment we stepped in. The old town with its nice little streets and great restaurants is just couple of minutes drive. The landladies are also very attentive and helpful. It wasn't our first time in Lagos and we are definitely coming back again especially that now we have found the perfect place to stay at.

Sandra is a lovely person, very caring and professional and is brilliant at making you settle in quickly, she gives all our holiday makers great piece of mind from the very start knowing all you have to do if you need anything is to call her, there is nothing she can't fix. You have summed up Lagos perfectly nice little streets great restaurants 2 minutes away, with fantastic beeches in walking distance. A perfect review for a perfect location.

Ancora Park

We enjoyed our stay at Ancora Park very much. It is a modern, spacious open-plan, well furnished apartment with large south facing balcony, and ample parking space directly outside. It is in a quiet position and we all slept soundly at night. We felt that some general local info. left in the kitchen,might be useful for visitors to the apartment. Sandra was very helpful and gave us information on local activities.
We had the double bedroom with ensuite. We felt that a mirror and small unit below (as in other double) would be very useful as only mirror available is in bathroom.
The other double could benefit with a chest of drawers for underwear etc as main storage in hall. We would appreciate the 3rd bedroom being left open on our next visit in October as storage access in there would be handy.
Apartment could do with potato peeler and garlic press, also a larger saucepan and an ovenproof casserole dish would be very useful. We bought and left in kitchen a microwaveable dish as none there.
The property was very clean and well maintained and any problems were swiftly sorted out. It is close to a very nice beach with good restaurant. You can also walk into town easily to the many varied shops and restaurants. Theres a good walk along the headland to Praia da Luz which is also attractive.

We would definitely recommend this apartment to a friend or relative.

Fantastic apartment great location.

As a family of 4 this is the best holiday accommodation we have ever rented. It had the feeling of a modern 4 star luxury hotel definitely had the wow factor. When we opened the apartment door the open plan living & kitchen space blew us away!!!

The private terrace was amazing, double the normal size we are used to, with it being partly shaded throughout the whole day made it perfect for eating and relaxing.

With the private pool available to only 9 apartments it was like having your own pool complimented by having our own quality sun beds. Not needing to get up early in the morning to fight for a bed was sheer heaven.

We loved everything about the apartment and Lagos so much we have already booked it again. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine feel of privacy with spacious accommodation that oozes real class in a great location.

Ancora apartments are a brand new luxury complex situated in the smart area of Porto Do Mos. The apartment is in a stunning location overlooking the beautiful 5 star Cascade Wellness Resort, two beautiful beaches Praia da Camilo and Porto de Mos are only a 10 minute walk away where you will find excellent restaurants and amenities, a fantastic base for your holiday.

If you're a sporting fan, you never know who you might spot from your balcony training at the Cascade Football Academy! They have recently hosted teams such as Dinamo Zagreb and Middlesborough FC.

A few minutes in the car and you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its maze of cobbled side walks and colourful market square offering a large variety of restaurants, bars, cafés, shopping and markets. Or stroll along the promenade to the Marina complex and admire the luxury yachts whilst relaxing with a drink over lunch at one of the marina bars or restaurants.

For those who don’t wish to drive, there is regular bus service (every 30 mins) from Porto do Mos beach down to the town centre of Lagos and it also stops near the Marina, supermarkets and other amenities.

For those little essentials, you can walk to a small supermarket in 5-10 minutes or for all your needs, visit the large Intermarche which is easy to find and a short drive from the apartment.

When people hear of the Algarve most associate it with Golf however there really is so much more and literally something for everyone. Lagos & Porto do Mos boast some of the best beaches along the Algarvian coast and chances are if you see a photo showing beautiful grottoes and rock formations they have been taken at the local Ponte de Piedade or Praia Dona Ana.

If hiring a car you can visit the natural Spa in the beautiful Monchique Mountains or visit the old Moorish capital of Silves with it's castle set upon the hilltop.

It's easy to keep the children entertained as there are various water parks offering exciting rides and a sea-life park that offers the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

If you are a keen golfer you will find some great courses nearby some with ocean views, such as Palmares, Boavista and Alta courses, plus the challenging Penina Championship Course which often hosts a Portuguese Open tournament.

Lagos itself is a beautiful historical town famous for its association with Portugal's 15th-century Age of Discovery. It was here that Henry the Navigator had his vessels built for the voyages of exploration along the coast of West Africa which ultimately led to the discovery of the sea route past the Cape of Good Hope to India.

The great thing about Lagos is that it has something for everyone from the historical quarter with its castle walls & fortress to the modern Marina with its fantastic yachts. The central square and narrow cobbled streets are an ideal place for strolling and people watching and in the evening street entertainers and buskers create a great atmosphere. A boat trip to the caves and grottoes is a must and there are some great water sports on offer, including deep sea fishing, plus dolphin spotting tours of the Atlantic coast.
