Our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers)found the upstairs apartment to be comfortable and cheerful - loved the sunny yellow in the master bedroom with the colorful quilt. Speaking of beds, we were sold on the comfort of the beds prior to our August visit, and Chris Norcross, the owner did not disappoint. Not only were the beds very comfortable, but well appointed with Egyptian cotton sheets and upscaled pillows. The apartment has central air, which was necessary and appreciated for mid-August, a nice size kitchen - (loved the skylight over the sink!), a stereo system, enjoyed by the two teenagers,a nice big bathroom and an outside sitting area with grill, which we used for seafood and steaks. Our miniature dachshund appreciated the garden and the half block walk to Commercial Street; not to mention lots of dogs being walked up and down Atlantic Ave. I think Scooby would rate #9 Atlantic as a Gold Paw resort. This was the first vacation that we have ever taken our family pet. It was so nice to have her with us. When my 81 year old mother heard about the stay, she announced she would like to go next year. We have our eye on the more spacious downstairs apartment if this pans out.
I want to add that the house and our apartment had that New England or Cape Cod feel and charm. We look forward to renting at #9 Atlantic again.
