A screened porch, with wicker furniture is just steps off the bluestone patio.The large porch in the front of the house also wraps around into this 13 by 16 ft. screened porch both complete with plenty of wicker furniture to relax on.There is an outside shower and a private yard with perennial gardens. There are also extensive new perennial gardens with a mixture of beautiful evergreens and flowering trees to complete your peaceful getaway.The home is set back ~ 300 feet from the association road. Ask for an updated landscaping plans. The private association of Meadow View Farms has tennis courts available and has ample area for walking around the association with it's meadows.
Martha's Vineyard is truly a magical place to come, experience and be a part of. Local artisans display their works at the many galleries and crafts shows all throughout the year. The Vineyard is a wonderful place in the off-season, as well. There are miles of public beaches for combing in hopes of finding that perfect shell or beach glass. Menemsha has breath-taking sunsets and Aquinnah is utterly spectacular with it's ever changing clay cliffs. The landscape of the island is truly remarkable. Vineyard Haven has plenty of year-round shopping, with Oak Bluffs and Edgartown becoming a little bit quieter in the off season.
Martha's Vineyard is a ''dry'' island except for the towns Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. If dining out in any restaurant not in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs, it is completely acceptable to B.Y.O.B. If you desire, I can recommend a private chef to come to this home and prepare one or more meals for you. Or if you prefer, she can prepare something for you in her establishment and you can pick it up at your convenience. There are lots of exciting activities for kids, as well.
