This old Sicilian country house - recently carefully restored - is immersed in the hilly coutryside of western Sicily, 3 Km from the town of Calatafimi Segesta, close to various places of cultural and natural interest. It has more than 4 hectars of land given over to the cultivation of olives, citrus fruit, prickly pears and other soft fruits. There are 3 double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms on two floors, most of them with en suite bathrooms, two modern kitchens, two large reception rooms, balconies and terraces. In the nearby town of Calatafimi Segesta you can find the usual shops, supermarkets and chemists. It's in easy driving distance of many sites of notable interest - the Greek temples of Segesta and Selinunte, the medieval city of Erice, the hot-springs of Segesta (open until midnight) and Acqua Pia a Montevago, Trapani and the Egadi Islands, the small Phoenician island of Mozia, the Dancing Satyr at Mazzara del Vallo, the sparkling white beach at San Vito Lo Capo, the famous Nature Reserve of the Zingaro, Scopello a few Km. away, the world famous Arab-Norman mosaics at the Cathedral of Monreale and the seaside town of Castellammare del Golfo only 20 minutes away.
Palermo and Trapani are almost equidistant from Calatafimi Segesta and both have international air and maritime connections.
The area produces excellent wines and cheeses.
