Comfy, Cozy and Close!

My husband and I rented this house with three other couples. We had two small children in the group. This property was great for us! The location was great and it was half the price of the other properties in Stratton that we were looking at!
Although it was an older property, it was clean and well maintained which gave it a comfy lived in feel and made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, plenty of towels in the bathrooms, and extra sheets for all the beds. The hot tub was outside on the back deck and that was perfect for us! We could put the baby monitors in the window and felt comfortable to relax in evening while being close enough to monitor the kids.
The walk to the slopes was about 5 minutes. There is a trail between the houses and you have to cross the main road, then its just up the drive to the slope side shops and lifts. If you are a cross-country skier (like myself) you have to drive about 10 minutes to the sun bowl, but the drive was very easy and parking at the sun bowl was plentiful. It was really not an issue.
The property manger, Thom, was great. He was very helpful with directions and any questions I had about the stay. Our time of arrival to the property varied as we all were arriving from different locations and Thom was very accommodating about ensuring a smooth check-in for our group.
The house is located in a neighborhood where all the houses have the chalet look to them. I highly recommend a brief stroll around the neighborhood. It is a quiet, older, neighborhood with no traffic. The house is on a cul-du-sac so it is very quiet!
All in all, this was the perfect house for us. It met all of our needs; it was comfortable; the location was superb; and it was an awesome value.
I would highly recommend this house.
