Family Get Together
I'm one of 6 kids and now that most of us are married and have kids of our own we thought it would be great to get together as a family in VT. My parents came along too and we had 2 small dogs as well. We had total of 11 adults and 4 kids under 5 years old. It was the perfect house for our group. We had a great time. We drove up in 4 cars and we could probably fit at least 2 more if we had to in the parking spaces.
Amy was very helpful with everything. The house is located in a terrific spot just a quick 1 min. drive to the mountain. There is plenty of dining, bars and shops close by as well. However we only really left to go to the mountain. The house had everything you could need to feed a large group and keep them entertained as well. Big kitchen table, 2 TV's, wet bar area, living room, pool table and darts. Hot tub was right on the deck outside the house.
You can arrange the rooms to satisfy just about any group. I would suggest that the loft area be for someone who goes to bed last if you’re a late group or someone who wakes up early if your a morning group. We were sort of a combo so my 2 brothers couldn't exactly sleep in with the kids waking up early and making noise.
I would recommend this house for any group. It’s close to everything but you could definitely stay home and just enjoy your groups company. Even for those who didn’t ski there was something for you to do. You could visit town, go to the spa, go tubing or most importantly visit New Hampshire for tax free liquor.
The owners really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions and concerns. We would rent again for sure and I look forward to doing so.
