Location: Ludlow / Okemo Mountain Area < Vermont < USA

Winter brings great skiing, boarding, snowmobiling, skating, sledding, etc. Or my favorite soaking in the hot tub after a great day in the snow. Spring, summer and fall offer excellent hiking, biking, fishing and golfing. Or my favorite, soaking in the hot tub after a great day in the sun. There are few great restaurants in Ludlow, or head up to the Killington area for more great food and some fantastic night life. Oh yeah, and a ton more slopes. Only a 30 minute drive. Try Woodstock for a classic Vermont town, complete with art galleries, shopping and dining. Or visit Billings Farm & Museum in Woodstock for a change of pace. A very scenic 40 minute drive. Take a scenic train ride out of Chester, VT. About a 10 minute drive. Ask us for more suggestions on where to go and where to eat!

I'm one of 6 kids and now that most of us are married and have kids of our own we thought it would be great to get together as a family in VT. My parents came along too and we had 2 small dogs as well. We had total of 11 adults and 4 kids under 5 years old. It was the perfect house for our group. We had a great time. We drove up in 4 cars and we could probably fit at least 2 more if we had to in the parking spaces.
Amy was very helpful with everything. The house is located in a terrific spot just a quick 1 min. drive to the mountain. There is plenty of dining, bars and shops close by as well. However we only really left to go to the mountain. The house had everything you could need to feed a large group and keep them entertained as well. Big kitchen table, 2 TV's, wet bar area, living room, pool table and darts. Hot tub was right on the deck outside the house.
You can arrange the rooms to satisfy just about any group. I would suggest that the loft area be for someone who goes to bed last if you’re a late group or someone who wakes up early if your a morning group. We were sort of a combo so my 2 brothers couldn't exactly sleep in with the kids waking up early and making noise.
I would recommend this house for any group. It’s close to everything but you could definitely stay home and just enjoy your groups company. Even for those who didn’t ski there was something for you to do. You could visit town, go to the spa, go tubing or most importantly visit New Hampshire for tax free liquor.
The owners really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions and concerns. We would rent again for sure and I look forward to doing so.

To make this short and sweet....I travelled with 13 people to this house and there was not one complaint. It was extremely clean, clsoe to the mountain and just pleasant to be in! I will more that likely reant again next year.

Jan 24,25,26 We were a group of 10. We found ample room in the house. The upstairs bed rooms were small but adaquate. The gas fireplace was an asset. A smaller (bar type) pool table would have been better. The hot tub was just what the Dr ordered after a fantastic ski day. The owner was very cooperative. Could be a revisit next year.

What a great house! We had a surprise 30th birthday party for my daughter-in-law at the house and it was perfect for our group. The hot tub was especially fun and the pool table was enjoyed by all. A foot of new, wet snow had fallen on the day we arrived which was a little tough to navigate and we drove home in the spring surprise nor-easter, but the time spent in between at the house was something we will all remember. Lots of good times and great memories. The house wss so clean and comfortable. Many thanks to Amy for all of her advice and help about the things to do and see locally. We hope to come back!

The house was great! We stayed there with 13 adults & had more than enough room! Last year, we stayed in the house next door & liked the White House so much more! The set-up of the house is perfect. Also, Amy is great- we wound up booking the house less than 2 weeks before we went & everything went so smoothly. Thanks Again!
