Nestled on a gently sloping hillside, it boasts gorgeous views of the harbor, ocean thoroughfare, and many islands, including Isle au Haut - part of Acadia National Park. Lounge on the wrap-around porch and enjoy southerly and southwesterly views. Relax on the dock, granite ledges, gardens, and beach area or slip into one of our 6 kayaks and tour the harbor or surrounding close by islands. View the array of lobster boats and glorious sailing vessels as they pass in and out of the harbor - easily seen from inside as most rooms have an ocean view. Delight in beautiful sunsets or relish the calm as an evening fog rolls in. Enjoy time with friends and family as this house accommodates sleeping for 9, yet cozy enough for just 2.

You'll find it charmingly decorated with antiques and local collectibles while having all the modern appliances to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

My wife and I rented this cottage recently in early Oct.
This home is a beautifully restored Victorian home with lots of rustic charm yet still has all modern amenities! We were thrilled with the views from the deck and the dock! We found ourselves getting up early to watch the lobster fleet leave and return to unload later. This home is well represented in its advertisement. The town of Stonington is all in walking distance and is a very charming and friendly town. This area is centrally located with easy access to antique shopping on route 1 and easy access to Acadia Park area. We had a wonderful time and didn't want to leave. We are considering a return visit next year. Dave and Joyce
