Orland Cottage Rental Photos and Description
2 Bedrooms, 1 bath, sleeps 4
Adorable 2 bedroom plus loft, 1 bath cottage located on the Narramissic River.
This is the former location of the Orland Ice House, where ice was cut from the winter during the winter months and stored in the Ice House for delivery to residents to be put in their 'icebox' or refrigerators to keep their food cold.
Very private setting as the cottage is the last house on the road (there are only two houses on the road) and sits about 50 feet back from the Narramissic River, which makes it a great location for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. There is plenty of wild life to be seen at the cottage. FREE WIFI available at cottage.
***Note, spiral stairs takes you from the 1st to 2nd floor***

About Shawn Robinette
We moved to Maine in 1997 from Seattle. We own a coffee shop/bakery in Southwest Harbor by the name of Milagro Coffee & Espresso.
Shawn Robinette purchased this cottage in 2001
Why Shawn Robinette chose Orland
The Acadia area of Maine is one of the prettiest areas in the United States. Once you get here you will know why we decided to make this place our home.
What makes this cottage unique
The location of this property is so ideal to get to Blue Hill, Bucksport and other coastal villages. The wild life around the property is so amazing. Kayaking in the river is a lot of fun as is sitting on the porch enjoying the river views.
