Our three bedroom farmhouse on a country road on Deer Isle is a relaxing and comfortable place to while away the hours and a great base for exploring the Penobscot Bay area. Centrally located on a dead end road just a mile to the village of Deer Isle, 8 miles to Stonington, 15 miles to Blue Hill, and 6 miles to Haystack School of Crafts, it is a relaxing vacation spot for families, and a romantic get-away for couples. The Farmhouse is comfortable and informal and fully equipped with all kitchen items, a barbecue, DSL internet, free long distance phone and linens and towels. Just bring a good book or two to read in the hammock! Available Saturday to Saturday.

While this place is not fancy, it has been thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to be comfortable: soft cotton sheets; great reading lights; storybook shady front porch; excellent cooking utensils; lots of fans...I could go on and on.

It's in a perfect location for biking, kayaking, walking. It's private, quiet,clean, and comfortable. Highly recommended.
