The Villa at Saugerties is a Mediterranean-style home that functions as a rental property and a modern bed and breakfast. It was built in 1929 and is located in Saugerties, New York, just one hour and 45 minutes from New York City and four miles from Exit 20 on the New York State Thruway. The house and its four acres of rural property are tranquil and relaxing, yet decidedly stylish, think W Hotel goes country. The landscape features two flowing brooks, a small pond, a 40-foot stainless-steel lined swimming pool, beautiful stone footpaths and patios, and breathtaking vegetation and wildlife. The interior is even more stunning with common spaces boasting colorful wall treatments, original contemporary artwork and vintage modern furniture. The four guestrooms are equipped with private baths, cable TV, superior bedding and a unique decorative theme.

Saugerties is a four-season vacation destination offering something for everyone. In winter, visitors are treated to nearby ski mountains and snowmobiling facilities at Hunter and Wyndam Mountains. Spring and Summer usher in everything from tubing, canoeing and horseback riding (HITS) to tennis, golf, bicycling and equestrian competition. And nothing beats the Catskills Fall foliage and seasonal festivals. Though just minutes away from historic Woodstock, the quaint town of Saugerties has its own thrills to offer in the form of HITS horse shows, antique shops, fantastic restaurants - even a small movie theater. Other attractions within 15 minutes of the Villa are Bastion & Kaaterskill Falls, Opus 40, Saugerties Lighthouse, The Tibetan Buddhist Monastery and more! Area festivals include the Mum Festival, the Garlic Festival, the Woodstock Film Festival, World Reggae Festival and the Saugerties July 4th Fest, to name a few.
