GREAT HOLIDAY IN A BEAUTIFUL APP IN THE ALTEAHILLS

Dear Deborah, what a great app you have. We enjoyed our stay very much. Large, clean, luxerious app in a nice envirement. We (family with 2 children => twins, 11 years old) also enjoyed the swimmingpool. Beaches nearby, nice restaurants in the old part of Altea (around the church). Great view over the Altea Hills, the sea and you can even spot the skyline of Benidorm (only 10 min. away from Altea by car. We absolutely would recommend this app. to friends. JARDINES DE ALTEA

This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment and hopefully there will be many times to come.

It is located in the peaceful Altea Hills and is only about 40 minutes away from Alicante airport.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and has everything you need to make your stay home from home.The pool area is lovely and clean and is set in well-maintained lawns. it also has a shallow section for the children. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the road which stocks all the essentials.
The owner has made up a book which includes all the usefull information you need, from how to work the appliances in the apartment to maps of the area, some places of local interest and places to eat and drink. This is really helpful for your first visit.

The Costa Blanca is a wonderful place to explore wether you want to just take it easy and get away from the hustle and bustle or take it up a notch and make use of the many water sports that are available near by, like skuba diving and jet skiing and there is also the infamous nightlife of 'Benidorm'.

There are many lovely beaches only a few minutes drive away, Villa joyosa is one of our favorites,it's always really nice to make a picnic and spend the day there.

The 'Castle de Guadelest' is also worth a visit. It is a little village set high up in the hills, the drive is a little hairy at times, but the views when you get there are amasing and its just a really nice place to have a wonder around, have a look in the museum, then , a glass of wine whilst takeing in the scenery.

Altea old town has a really great atmosphere at night. Take a stroll up the cobble stone streets inbetween the little white washed houses until you get the open air square with the church at the top, There are lovely restaurants here and great boutiques for some late night retail therapy.

And, the best part is, once you have had a hard day sight seeing or sunbathing, you come back to the apartment, pour yourselves a glass of chilled
wine, sit back on the balcony and watch the sun go down over the sea. Just perfect.

We would highly recommend this apartment to couples and families alike and we both look forward to returning next year

It is a great place to come to relax and unwind.

The Jardines De Altea Hills Apartments are located via the Hotel Melia, access via security gates providing a sense of privacy. It is possible to walk/drive down to the hotel from the apartment, and use the hotels amenities, the gorgeous pool area, tennis courts & gymnasium (at a discounted rate), as well as bar & restaurants on the complex.

It is advisable to hire a car to get access into Altea town which is a 5 minute drive away and also to explore the many beaches along the coast and other places of interest surrounding Altea. The port of Muscaret & the resort of Calpe are also a short drive away.
