If your idea of paradise is breakfasting to parrots and humming birds, surrounded by rainforest, with the caribbean shimmering in the distance, and no-one within sight or sound of you, look no further. when sitting on the stunning beach at englishman's bay is too much for you, or you've had enough of beautiful drives or line fishing for black fin tuna with local fishermen, the pool at the house is blissful. Local cuisine is brilliantly tasty, but a cold Carib and a bbq back at the house while the sun's going down is a heavenly alternative. Need i go on?
The owners are lovely, responsive and helpful, and the local husband/wife team who look after things (including the wonderful garden, with bananas, avocados, grapefruit..) are kind and available.
The most worthwhile 8.5 hours i have ever spent on a plane.
And we're booked to go back next year: the 7 & 9 year olds can't wait!
