Located in the village of Ludlow, Vermont within 20 miles of 5 major ski areas. Walking distance to dining, shops & entertainment on Main St. 2 minute drive to Okemo Ski area or short walk to free shuttle bus. Cross-country skiing. Close to state beach/park/golf. Sleeps 8, 2 baths, kitchen, living room with queen sleeper sofa, & door for a 3rd bedroom, all amenities. New kitchen, gas fireplace & washer/dryer. Dogs are permitted. Don't forget how great summer is in Vermont with golf at Fox Run and Tater Hill, or hiking up Okemo an biking on it's trails. If you prefer a quieter time you could read a book at the state beach fish or rent a row boat an enjoy the clear water's of Vermont. Use Jackson Gore 's new fitness center with indoor and outdoor pool for a small fee. Also the free summer outdoor concerts sitting around the fire pit in the court yard. Day trips to Mt. Washington or Manchester, VT outlets.

stayed here middle of July while son at camp. Great location convenient to all location in central/southern Vermont. Quiet in evening but with many restaurants open in the area.Grocery store within walking distance to stock up on meal items as well as goodies. Nature trails all around area, nearby lakes have boat rentals available. Far better than hotel the extra room gave son down time for him self after busy day. Have already recommended this property to several friends a great summer time spot.
Owner's Response: I could not of put it better myself "Summer Secret " that is what Vermont really is. Its not only skiing or foliage and maple suyrup .It is golf at Fox Run and Tater Hill,or hiking up Okemo and biking on it trails.If you prefer a quiter time, you could read a book at the near by state beach , fish, or rent a row boat and enjoy the clean waters of Echo lake.Use Jackson Gore's new fitness center with indoor and outdoor pool for a small fee. Also the free summer outdoor concerts, sitting around the fire pit in the courtyard. Day trips to Mt. Washington or Manchester Vt. outlets. Come see all of this and more.Use this convient location in downtown Ludlow, Vt with all of it's shops , galleries and restaurants for a inexpensive family vacation. Oh yes and bring the dog!

Our family rented on of the apartments almost every other weekend for the 2008-09 ski season and it was perfect. Nothing fancy but highly funtional and nice location close to town and bus to mountain. Clean and everything you need in a ski accomodation (laudry, dishwater, dvd, gas fireplace, two separate full baths w/ good hot water, plenty of parking). Fair, honest and user friendly owner.

Clean, Comfortable, Affordable

Our family has spent a week skiing in Vermont every year for the past 20 years and we have rented this apartment more than once. It is a great place in the winter - less than 5 minutes to Okemo. The shuttle will pick you up less than a block away.
We also love it in the summer and fall. Vermont is a beautiful place for motorcycling and the apartment is perfectly located. We can stay for a week and ride a different ride everyday and then relax on the porch.
The apartment is very clean, quiet, comfortable and the value is impossible to beat. The kitchen is very well equipped, but if you don't want to cook, there are several good restaurants within walking distance.
We had the pleasure of meeting Bob on our last trip. It would be hard to find anyone more accomodating and he will go out of his way to make sure your stay is perfect.

Wonderfully Cozy Apartment

Rented this apartment with my sister and our teenage children (3 in all). Came during one of the coldest days in years (-17 at night). It was warm, cozy, clean and comfortable. Everyone seemed to have plenty of space and it was a lot bigger than we thought it would be. Bob, the owner happened to be there that weekend and was very accomodating and helpful. All of the staples were included and the house was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towles, foil, detergents, etc. we were impressed. Would definitely rent again next year. Nothing real fancy, but we were there to ski and it was perfect. Had a great time!

A Great Stay

My family and I , (4 adults, 1 kid and 1 dog,) stayed in this apartment for a week in August. The apartment is clean and comfortable. It is located at a quiet street and is closed to everything. The owner Bob is very helpful. It is suitable for families with kids who don't want to spend too much money on hotels.
