The house is built right against the mountainside so the rooms are on lots of different levels, making it perfect for children to explore and with lots of space to find peace and privacy. It's a comfortable house in classic Mallorcan style with cool marble floors, white walls and beamed ceilings.

There's a choice of four living areas. A large lounge and dining room arranged around an old olive press, a television lounge with large sofas and satellite TV and a DVD and CD player, a family lounge with more comfortable sofas and also a pool table, and a small study. There's a large family kitchen with a farmhouse table and chairs, and appliances including a dishwasher, an extra large fridge-freezer and a microwave. The laundry area is in a separate utility room. Also on the ground level there's a full bathroom with a bath and a shower.

All four of the air-conditioned bedrooms are on the first floor. There are two double bedrooms - one is an elegant hotel-style suite with a four-poster bed, tables and sofas, and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has twin beds and an extra single bed up on a wooden mezzanine. The fourth bedroom is a triple room with three single beds. Also on the first floor there's a bathroom with a large bath, double sinks, and a separate shower. There's a separate wc/cloakroom here too.

There are extensive grounds at Finca Segui with wonderful mountain views. There's a curved swimming pool surrounded by sun-terraces - a gate here also means that the pool area can be closed off from the rest of the garden for children's safety.

There's also a basketball nett and a table-tennis table. At the side of the house there's a covered barbecue terrace with a bread oven and a stone sink and a farmhouse table and benches. Finca Segui is an exceptional house with lots of space and traditional Mallorcan character in a really pretty rural setting.

Finca Segui is designed for the most relaxing of holidays for families and large groups of friends, it is the perfect base due to its convenient location in Puerto Pollenca and is a lovely holiday home.

Once a small fishing village and Pollença's harbour, Puerto Pollensa is now a magnificent bay filled with yachts and fishing boats with a 1.5-mile seafront promenade. The views across the bay to rugged headlands are exceptionally beautiful. On the other side of the bay is the romantic pine walk - a pretty promenade sheltered by pine trees stretching round the horseshoe bay. It's one of the most beautiful places in Mallorca to take a stroll - starting east of the marina stretching towards the famous Illa D'Or Hotel. Villaparade have several exclusive apartments here in this very sought-after location, close to some lovely restaurants and three additional apartments overlooking the beach just a few yards west of the marina.

Puerto Pollensa is host to long sandy beaches that curve around the bay and are divided by breakwaters and so are ideal for children. There are also a number of small, natural, sand and pebble beaches to explore. The atmosphere in Puerto Pollensa is relaxed with no loud discos or nightclubs, but a fine variety of open-air cafés, restaurants, boutiques and shops.

  • Price is per property per week (£'s sterling) and includes: weekly maid service, linen/towels (excluding beach towels), any air-con/heating costs, safety deposit box rental, services of resort office and representatives.

    There is an additional minor breakage charge which also includes use of a safety deposit box of £15 per week (if you do not wish to pay this then a security deposit of 25% of the property cost is required when paying the final balance).

    Extras available include: cot, high chair, bed-guard, stair-gate, pushchair from £20 each per week, extra bed if available £75 per week – please use the booking form when booking the property to pre-book all these and many more extras & activities including Nintendo Wii, bike hire, day trips, rounds of golf and car upgrades.
