The house is located below some of Vermont's finest skiing. You will enjoy many hours in the surrounding countryside or the town with the same easy access and come home to privacy and quietude at the end of a busy day. Or, you can relax and enjoy the mountain view in a private backyard surrounded by lovely, old sugar maple trees. This newly renovated rental has two bedrooms with spare double bed in large office room, a large living room/ kitchen with beautiful hardwood floors, full bath and new 1/2 half, and a large covered patio with private entrance.

Location: Stratton and Bromley Ski Areas < Vermont < USA

Just 5 miles below Bromley Mountain or 12 miles below Stratton Mountain, this setting provides easy access in winter to the world of mountain sports and super fun in summer on the Alpine slide and gondola rides. Enjoy a day of walking or hiking in the mountains with immediate access to the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail in the Green Mountains. Alternately, try Equinox Mountain in the Taconic Range, one of the oldest ranges in the world. Paths and trails lead to tougher climbs on both mountains but the view is spectacular from Prospect Rock on the east or Table Rock on the west. Try a sporting 1/2 mile easy walk to Lye Brook Falls, a place where solitude eases the soul. Shop in Manchester, an outlet mecca, or dine in fine restaurants or casual eateries. Enjoy the Riley Rink, the home of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and host to notable concerts throughout the summer season. In winter, the rink sports ice skating every day and local hockey matches.
