A beautiful stone house inland from Cala D'Or, in lovely countryside. Finca Es Taronges is in a wonderfully lush and peaceful spot, surrounded by pine trees and palms and an orange grove and with a kiddies playground - hence its name which means, 'The House of the Oranges'. It's also still very close to restaurants and shops, less than five minutes' drive away, and the pretty coast at Cala D'Or which is twenty minutes by car.

The house's round tower makes for an imposing first view. And inside, it's full of light and grand spaces. It's been built recently with a careful use of natural materials - like the pebbled floor in the hall, and stone walls in the main rooms. On the ground floor there's an elegant open-plan kitchen and dining room with a long table and a fireplace, and a very well-designed kitchen - with lovely wooden units, and appliances including a dishwasher. There's a separate pantry too. Also on the ground floor there are two double bedrooms - one with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. There's also a separate shower-bathroom.

The light and sunny living room is on the first floor, with windows on three sides looking out onto pine trees and the garden. There's a tv here, comfortable sofas, and a roof terrace again looking over the garden. There's a second living room in the tower, up another flight of stairs - again with gorgeous views across the countryside. On this upper level there's also a double bedroom with a roof terrace, a twin bedroom, and a shower-bathroom.

There's lots of incredibly relaxing space around the house - with stylish stone terracing, and a fantastic pool area shaded by palms, cypresses and tall trees. There's a covered barbecue casita, and a poolside shower-bathroom. There's even a tree house close to the pool - great for older children. The property also has a gated driveway.

Finca Es Taronges is a wonderful holiday home - stylish, private and peaceful. It's a great design, carefully crafted and with lots of space for swimming and relaxing, reading and eating. It's also very close to shops and restaurants in the village of Cas Concos, and a short drive from the resort of Cala D'Or, and the string of gorgeous tiny beaches - known as the Calas - which run along this part of the coast.

Cas Concos has a long tradition in hospitality, and possibly has most efficiently contributed in all campaigns in promoting the islands image abroad. Proof of this is the great amount of expatriates now living in this area where one is immediately captured by its people's charm and tolerance.

Cas Concos has excellent craftsman especially in wood, a supermarket, fantastic bars with very defined atmospheres, some very good restaurants and art galleries. At night Abraixas bar is a social meeting place for a varied wide range of nationalities. For many years it has been a chosen place for artists and bohemians.

2 km / 3-minute drive to village of Cas Concos with shops and local bars. 20-minute drive to Cala D'Or beaches, marina, restaurants, supermarkets and shops.

  • Price is per property per week (£'s sterling) and includes: weekly maid service, linen/towels (excluding beach towels), any air-con/heating costs, safety deposit box rental, services of resort office and representatives.

    There is an additional minor breakage charge which also includes use of a safety deposit box of £15 per week (if you do not wish to pay this then a security deposit of 25% of the property cost is required when paying the final balance).

    Extras available include: cot, high chair, bed-guard, stair-gate, pushchair from £20 each per week, extra bed if available £75 per week – please use the booking form when booking the property to pre-book all these and many more extras & activities including Nintendo Wii, bike hire, day trips, rounds of golf and car upgrades.
