Bilbao lies within one of the most popular metropolitan areas in northern Spain. Its main urban core is surrounded by two small mountain ranges with an average elevation of 400 metres (1,300 ft).

Bilbao is a vigorous service city that is experiencing an ongoing social, economic, and aesthetic revitalization process, started by the symbolic Bilbao Guggenheim Museum, and continued by infrastructure investments, such as the airport terminal, the rapid transit system, the tram line, the Alhóndiga, or the currently under development Abandoibarra and Zorrozaurre renewal projects.

The flat is by the emblematic Nervion River at a walking distance from the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum. Bilbao is surrounded by a gorgeous natural environment, very characteristic of the Basque geography: amazing mountains and natural parks as well as plenty of beaches to choose from.

Bilbao is 40 minutes driving distance from San Sebastian, famous for being one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, its gastronomic offer and the San Sebastian International Film Festival.

Wonderful Bilbao apartment!

My husband, my friend and I just spent 3 nights at Casa Bilbao.
The apartment was perfect- so well-designed, nicely decorated and convenient to the Guggenheim and Old Town.
We were pleasantly surprised that welcoming food was provided in the kitchen: coffee, juice, croissants, cheese, etc. The bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable.
We enjoyed the close proximity of delicious restaurants for trying the local Basque food (especially the pintxos) and wine.
I would highly recommend this flat for anyone wanting to visit the Bilbao and the amazing Guggenheim museum down the street!!
