Aloha & Mahalo for choosing our place of solitude.
“We and the children greatly enjoyed our stay. We stayed 3 nights here and 3 nights in Hilo. If we had it to do over again, we would stay 6 nights at Hale Aloha and 0 at Hilo Seaside Hotel. Volcano is not that far from Hilo and Hale Aloha felt like living at home. House was clean. Appliances functioned well. Appreciated the dishwasher and washer/dryer convenience. For meals we alternated precooked dinners and prewashed veggies we brought from Costco Kona with dining out in Volcano, Pahoa (Luquin's Mex Food), and Hilo (Naung Mai Thai Food and Ken's House of Pancake).”
We liked the wrap around porch, giving us a view of the surrounding gardens. We wanted a place to stay one night near Volcano Nat'l Pk and we found it. We had no intention of setting up housekeeping or doing any cooking, though this home is well equipped for the activities. It is clean and comfortable. The fireplace was used-thanks for having the wood cut and ready-since the weather outside was in the 50'sF and we needed a little heat. This home suited our purposes very well. Thank you for letting us share it with you.
The house is large and graciously furnished. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. The bathrooms are also very clean. The amenities, coffee, ta, creamers, etc make it seem like home. The weather was in the 50's when we arrived so the house was a little cold. The electric heaters did not do much to dispel the cold. The fire we built in the fireplace did warm up the house. The surroundings are exquisite and it is close to Volcano National Park.
We four loved your vacation rental, except that we loved sitting out on the lanai and it's very shallow. We would come back again if the lanai out back had more room to move around on.
View active lava flows in the majestical place of Volcanoes National Park.
