Plenty of activities for the outdoors enthusiast, a canoe included with the rental. Moose Pond( 11 1/2 miles long ) is renowned for fishing, often the sight of bass tournaments. Public boat landing .5 mi. away. Lakeside condo living at its finest. Situated on Moose Pond, a large lake 12 miles long. An easy drive to several scenic uncrowded public golf courses. Tee times? No problem. At the foot of Pleasant Mountain, only a short walk to Shawnee Peak ski area and also less than an hour from several New Hampshire ski areas and from the huge, Sunday River ski area in Bethel. There are tennis courts on site, sandy beach , and canoe available. Lots of local fishing spots. Hiking trails abound, both local and in the nearby national White Mountain Forest system. 20 minutes away, North Conway, New Hampshire, has become an outlet center, with tax-free shopping and lots of excellent restaurants (and several beautiful golf courses). Lots to do in all seasons - in the fall, at the peak of spectacular fall color, the world famous Fryeburg fair beckons. A slow trip down the Saco River is minutes away. So much to do in all seasons in the lakes region area.

Winter Season Amenities: Shawnee Peak Ski Area a short walk from your door. Sunday River, Wildcat, Attitash and others all within an hour. Snowmobiling access to ITS 80 and trail system going to Canada right there. Cross country sking trails almost unlimited with all levels of difficulty. Season rates available

Foliage Season: Minutes away from Fryeburg Fair, largest fair in Maine. Spectacular scenery, both at the lake and by many scenic drives. Grafton Notch, Conway area, covered bridges, all handy. Excellent hiking trails up and around Pleasant Mountain for breath-taking views. White Mountain National Forest is very close.

Spring and Summer Seasons: Moose Pond is 12 miles long and a world class fishing spot, home to many bass fishing tournaments yet good fishing for trout and other cold water fishes. Saco River is a few miles away for a day of slow floating. At least eight public golf courses are within a half hour, 12 within an hour. Canoe comes with the condo and there is a beach and swimming area and tennis courts right there. Public boat ramp quarter mile away.
