A modern bright and spacious 2 bedroom attic apartment with large private South Westerly facing terrace. The accommodation offers all the comfort and convenience associated with modern living. The apartment is a two minute walk to Zahara's beautiful beach. As the apartment has both air conditioning and central heating, it is therefore ideal for both summer and winter holidays. The apartment is set within a well managed development and fronts onto a pedestrianised area which is both safe and quiet. Entry to the apartment is via a security entry phone system which admits you to a communal lobby area with lift and stairs servicing the attic apartment which is on the second/top level. The apartment is conveniently situated in the village of Zahara de los Atunes and is within easy walking distance of a selection of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and two pharmacies.

In addition to the beautiful coastline and the beaches of the Costa de la Luz there are some interesting towns and cities to visit eg. Seville, the hill top town of Vejer de la Frontera (20 minute drive. Jerez and the sherry triangle with its bodegas and wine tasting opportunities. Donana National Park - walking, bird watching and jeep safari. Tarifa with its ferry to North Africa and dolphin and whale watching. Baelo Claudio and its Roman remains are a 20 minute drive away. There are several golf courses within easy reach of Zahara - Montenmedia (N340), Campo de Golf (San Andreas - N340) and Novo Sancti Petri (N340).

Additional information about rental rates

  • PLEASE NOTE - RENTAL RATES are for up to 4 sharing for the 5th additional person/child we charge £35 per week - the rental rates also INCLUDE BOTH CENTRAL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING.
    Changeover days over the summer period i.e. mid 1 July - 1 September are either Saturday or Sunday. Outside of this time we try to be as flexible as possible. Rental periods of less than 1 week are available outside the peak period 1 July - 1 September. Preferential rates are avalable for stays of 3 weeks or more - please enquire.
  • The apartment is cleaned for your arrival and towels and linen provided for the for the duration of your stay. A mid term clean can be arranged for two week breaks - there is an additional charge of 45 Euros for this service. Please contact us if you require this facility.
    If your arrival time is earlier than 8am in the morning or later than 10pm in the evening an extra charge of 20 Euros is made which is payable direct to our English speaking contact in the village who meets and takes clients to the apartment on arrival.
  • Airport Pick ups can be arranged from Gibraltar, Jerez, Seville and Malaga.
    We can advise on competitively priced car hire also.

Notes: The kitchen is well equipped with gas/electric hob, extractor w/machine, f/freezer and m/wave. Both bedrooms have large built in cupboards. Both bedrooms and lounge have a sliding doors which take you straight onto a large south/west facing terrace. Spacious lounge/dining area comfortably furnished with TV with satellite and VCR, Stereo radio/tape/CD player. Both bathroom and extra WC are modern and full tiled. Central heating is operated by thermostatically controlled switches which are in each room. The outside terrace is large (approx 36' long by 9' wide) - ideal for sunbathing - there are loungers and parasol with stand. Roofed tower room provides shade and is ideal for al fresco eating with table and chairs. Outside cupboard contains soft cushions, terrace/beach parasol, beach chairs etc. Bookings can be held for 48 hrs, during which time you can organise flights and car hire. Keys are collected from an English speaking contact based in Zahara. Airport pick ups can be arranged.

Travel: Easy access by flying into: Gibraltar, Jerez, Seville and Malaga. Convenient flights from the UK include: Ryanair (Stansted to Jerez daily ) BA and Monarch (Gatwick/Heathrow/Manchester/Luton) to Gibraltar. BA (Gatwick/Heathrow) to Seville and Malaga and frequent Easyjet flights and other airlines to Malaga. Also possible to fly into Faro in Portugal. Airport pick ups can be arranged for Gibraltar, Jerez, Seville and Malaga.

Golf: Very easy access to golf courses - a short drive to the course that Seve Ballesteros designed at Santi Petri - we cannot wait to see and use the new course being designed for Zahara itself.

Other Activities: Nearby Tarifa is famous for its kite and wind surfing and you can also take a ferry from Tarifa to Tangiers. Bike hire available nearby.

What a lovely bright and spacious apartment, we really enjoyed our stay.
Our third stay in 3 years - apartment still wonderful - enjoyed every minute of our stay.
The villagers in Zahara are so welcoming, kind and the local fresh produce market helped us overdose when it came to buying fresh fish!
Enjoyed the whale and dolphin watching, such fun and got splashed so much by the dolphins we came back soaked to the skin.
Modern and comfortably furnished with all mod cons -we really enjoyed our stay.
Another visit another year and another very enjoyable stay - we particularly enjoyed the large sunny terrace.

So near golf courses, so managed to spend a lot of our time on the golf course!

Lovely 2 bed apartment next to the beach

We cannot praise the apartment and the location enough.

Having arrived after only an hours drive from Gibralter, via Easy Jet, we found the apartment easily. It was clean, spacious, and very well furnished and equipped. Being away from noisy traffic made sunbathing on the large south west facing terrace, (on luxurious sunbeds) a lovely peaceful experience. We were also able to eat out on the terrace in either sun or shade.

The superb white sand beach is a few minutes walk away (beach chairs provided) also the apartment is situated in the village of Zahara itself. The latter offers shops, a lovely local market, selling fresh fish and a number of very good restaurants ,a couple of which overlook the Atlantic ocean. Several times we went out for breakfast, and a lingering memory is the wonderful bread, served with equally good coffee!

We explored the hinterland and discovered amongst others, Seville and Cadiz. Both steeped in history and stunningly beautiful. Next time we visit, we plan to go across to North Africa from Tarifa which is a short drive from Zahara.

We definitely intend to return to this part of Spain, which is so beautiful and interesting ˆ and specifically to this lovely apartment which we feel offers very good value for money.
