Between Mount Etna And The Sea, Breathtaking View Of the bay

The property is set in a splendid hillside situation with great views of the sea and only a view minutes from the village centre of Taormina with bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

The appartment consisst of two double bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds, lounge/dining room, well equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. Outside you have a fantastic patio with garden furniture and a large bbq area.

If you're looking for a time out nature watching and quiet, interspersed with day trips into glorious countryside or historical towns then this is a good base.

As canyons go, it's not too spectacular if your only point of reference is something grand and American, but the Alcàntara Gorge boasts a very special heritage. It was formed by the waters running off the slopes of Mount Etna. The canyon reaches a depth of around 65 metres, of which some 50 metres are above the average water level, and the water is cool even during Sicily's hottest summer months.

“Great Location, Great View”

We found Villa Sicily to be comfortable, clean and in a good rural location. The pool was very welcome in the late summer heat, with comfortable lounges, a big shady umbrella and pleasant green surrounds. The hospitality of the owner and the welcome from his agent were outstanding. It was not just the provision of fruits, vegetables, wine etc, it was the warm and friendly attitude that was so much appreciated.
