Bella Vallone offers a restored cottage for 4 + 1 infant.

As seasoned holiday cottage visitors ourselves, we know how important it is to visit somewhere that is not only very special, but also clean, comfortable and well-equipped with all the necessities. We have also provided some luxuries and local produce to help you settle in. We know only too well how depressing it can be to arrive somewhere late at night to find that not even soap or washing-up liquid have been supplied. Our cottage and apartments all have something special about them, whether it is the wealth of beams, a unique piece of furniture or their beautiful unspoiled location. Bella Vallone is set in an amazing valley with breathtaking views of the Le Marche countryside. Only five kilometres from some of the prettiest medieval hill towns such as San Ginesio, Colmurano and Urbisaglia , you will be spoilt for choice. The region boasts stunning scenery and you can explore the wonders of the Sibillini Nation Park and its wonder Lake Fiastra close by. Le Marche has so many treasures with over 500 piazzas,1,000 significant monuments, 100 'cities of art', 1000's of churches 200 Romanesque, 72 archaeological sites....there is so much to see an do in this unspoilt area of Italy.

The area has an abundance of great restaurants, shops and coffee shops serving delicious food all locally produced. We have great wine here too with 100's of local wineries and vineyards to visit for tasting sessions. If you love shopping you will also find many top brand outlets providing great bargain designer, shoes, beds and clothing.

We came back too!

Just like last year, we have had a wonderful week at Bella Vallone. We have spent a lot of hours just relaxing in the garden but we have also been driving around the area visitng the many small hill-towns that suddenly appear before you. Many thanks for Karen & Grahame for sharing their place with us. We hope to be back a third time very soon!

Another Fantastic stay in Le Marche!

We have just returned from our second visit to Bella Vallone and it was just as lovely as last year. The apartments have everything you need, with some nice touches such as shower gel and sponges so that you can just jump in the shower on arrival without having to unpack first! Also very welcome are a few provisions to keep you going for a day or so. The scenery is stunning from the apartments and so peaceful. There are some wonderful small towns and villages nearby with numerous bars and restaurants - you'll be spoiled for choice. Karen and Grahame are great hosts and you will be made to feel very welcome.

We visited San Ginesio for the first time last year on the occasion of our son's wedding and fell in love with the area. We met Karen during the course of the wedding celebrations and heard of her self catering accomodation. As we wanted to return to San Ginesio this year we decided to stay at her cottage.
We were stunned by the beauty of the location of the cottage. Total tranquillity and wonderful views. The cottage was excellent, tastefully furnished , with modern fitments and very clean- a great place to stay. Karen is excellent, attentive if needed and always available to advise. We will return.

Twice As Nice

Not being in the habit of holidaying anywhere twice, returning to 'Cottage Sereno' at Bella Vallone was a first for us and we were not disappointed with our decision to revist this extraordinary part of Italy. It was every bit as wonderful as we had remembered from the previous year. Seeing our hosts, Karen and Grahame, again was like being reunited with old friends and the accommodation was even more of a home from home this year with the addition of extra bedroom furniture, a washing machine and sun loungers. The only things that weren't any better this year were the joy of being in San Ginesio and the tremendous views - because they are perfect and no improvement is possible. If you are looking for a base from which to explore Le Marche, to relax and get away from it all then this is the place to be. Just be prepared to perhaps spend rather more time than you planned simply soaking up the views at Bella Vallone - something we are not sure one could never tire of.

Simply Perfect

It is a beautiful part of the world - a taste of authentic Italy. The location
is so peaceful and is surrounded by stunning views. The accomodation is finished
to a high standard and meets all the needs to self-cater in complete comfort. A
car is essential to explore the surrounding area which had much to offer. The
characterful hilltop towns and villages offer a sense of the regions history and
culture. The local food and wine is very reasonably priced and of good
quality,this accompanied by a relaxed pace of life makes it is the perfect place
to switch off and recharge the batteries. For those seeking fantastic walking
country this location fits the bill, both on the doorstep and within the Siblini
National Park. A week did not feel long enough and we hope to back with
friends...
