The real Cape Breton: This is the natural area of the Island (I call this area Cape Bretons Nature Coast) and so I named my website ' CapeBretonsNatureCoast.com ' All activities that people love to do in Cape Breton are available from our area.
Good Nature: Wreck Cove is located on the Eastern side of the Cabot Trail, directly across from the only road up into the Cape Breton Highlands, (the Wreck Cove Road) As well as the peace and security of the area there is great, fresh and salt water fishing, skiing (both down hill and cross country), ATV trails, hiking, snowmobiling and just about any kind of outdoor activities you can imagine.
Highlife Activities: We are located just 20 minutes south of Ingonish where yachts can be docked, fine dining and entertainment abound, and it is the home of one of the top 2 golf courses in Canada, The Highlands Links, located just 20 miles North in Ingonish (always in the top 3 golf courses in Canada and perenally the # 1 public course in Canada), and approximately 35 minutes South is Baddeck home to the Bell Bay Golf Course (best new golf course in Canada when it opened in 2003).
A perfect vacation destination and very affordable for those on a budget or just looking for good value for their money.
Your host, Mike Crimp is well aquainted with Cape Breton Island and the Cabot Trail and their Cultural and Natural history, it's like having your own personal guide.
Part of the oceanfront property is for sale.
Mike , we thoroughly enjoyed our 1 nite stay in cabin 3. It wasn't long enough, but our time was limited. We also would like to thank you for welcoming our 3 Scottish Deerhounds ; not everyone would do that . Nice trails for them to run along , and they particularly enjoyed the beach . I think I heard your poor cat cheering as we drove away !
We look forward to a return visit .

Your place was perfect for 4 old, I mean long term, friends to spend a weekend together. Great friends, food, & fun in your comfy cabin. We loved having Miss Priss visit us and the walk she guided us on to the ocean and along the river was tremendous. Thanks again.
Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome cabin! We had a blast. You've a fantastic set up! Everyone should go to Cape Breton in the winter! It's a winter wonderland. I recommend your place highly! Go to Cape Breton, and stay here! Love your kitty! Say hey for us.
Roger, Dawn & I had a blast. Our seafood supper was unbelievable. You really do have a beautiful spot there and the hospitality was exceptional. It was real neat listening to all the "old time" stories. Next time we make it home, you are definately on our list of places to go! We highly recommend that anyone visiting the Cabot Trail spend some of their time with you. Thank you sooo much for everything.
You have a wonderful treasure on earth. Thank you for sharing it with us. We agreed that Cape Breton was the most beautiful of all of Nova Scotia. The campfires, stories, stars and 4 way cribbage will be some wonderful memories that we will treasure.
Thanks again Kristina, Adrianne and Melanie.
Thank you for another wonderful visit, we have stayed at your cabins several times and have never been disapointed.....we look forward to our next visit, thanks again!!!!!

The Cottage is tucked in the Woods on the Cabot Trail and is very close to all the activities that people love to do here on Cape Breton Island. The Cabot Trail is one of the most beautiful places on earth and has all the amenities that visitors from all over the world love so much.
Golf: I call our area Cape Bretons Nature Coast, because the land here by the sea, has been bought up in large parcels so the area keeps it's pristine nature, that is why I chose the name CapeBretonsNatureCoast.com for the name of my web site..
Ski: The property is located at Wreck Cove on the World famous Cabot, One of the top three most scenic drives in the World. There is about 810,000 sq. ft of land with 1000 feet of ocean frontage. If you are looking for a large estate sized property with all the beauty, safety, and peace and quiet that Nova Scotia can offer, it is worth coming up and have a stay here on the property to learn all about it and all the advantages and amenities that the area has to offer
