One of our guests commented: 'This house is awesome!!! We loved it and really enjoyed our stay there. The house and scenery is gorgeous!...' Our own sentiments exactly. We've provided you a link (bottom of page) to 30 more pictures so you can See for yourself. Call if you have further questions. Our home is a 2400 square foot, 7-room, 3-bath adobe brick house with Italian arches, surrounded by 15 tall saguaro cactus and numerous shade trees. Sit on the porch or pool patio and look out over the Tucson valley with lights below. It's delightful even in the hot summer We are located directly west of the city in a hillier, more scenic area than found in the Catalina foothills north of the city. Gardens and shade trees are maintained by a gardener. The neighborhood backs up to Tucson Mountains Park. Houses in the neighborhood are spaced widely apart for privacy and quiet. It's only 10 minutes to Interstate 10 and 12 minutes to downtown Tucson and University of Arizona.

[Note: swimming pool is unheated, but a pool cover is provided.] CLOSE-BY: hiking, biking, world-class golf resorts (Star Pass: past-PGA tournament site, daily fee available), Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, Old Tucson movie studios, Saguaro Park Information Center, Gates Pass (great sunsets), downtown Tucson -12 minutes away (museums, funky craft shops, University of Arizona, excellent restaurants). DAY TRIPS: Nagales (Mexico), Tombstone (OK Corral), Bisbee (Coal mines, artists), San Xavier mission church, Biosphere II Center, Kitt Peak National Observatory (telescopes).

Ambiance: Our guests tell us they like our house because it's a place where they can really kick back and relax. Numerous trees and shaded and unshaded patios allow one to find a place to enjoy the environment in any kind of weather, winter or summer. When we are there we eat many of our meals outside on the porch patio, and then for a different view we enjoy cocktails on the pool patio watching the mountains across the Tucson valley turn golden at sunset. The house is situated so that it feels as if it is up away from everyone else. In fact, the house is in a neighborhood of other houses, some above us, some below us, and only 12 minutes from downtown, so we are not isolated. We believe we have a very special house different other houses in Tucson. Our guests apparently agree because many of them come back for another visit.

On Site: Extras: large pool and pool patio, 2 shaded porches, patio and porch furniture, parking in garage (1 car), pool is unheated but has pool cover, city water and sewer, trash and recycling collection.

Near By: A few miles from the house is beautiful Gates Pass that takes you down into the next valley, home of the Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park and Old Tucson, the ex-movie location. As you come down that Pass into this 'next door' valley, it's hard not to think you are actually IN a movie.

April 17-24, 2005: Just returned from a week's stay at your house and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. While being only minutes away from downtown, we really liked being out in the "country". The non-heated pool took some getting used to, but by our third day, we had the pool-cover-system down pat. We look forward to staying there again in the near future.

We stayed here for two weeks in June and very much enjoyed it. The house and it's facilities are great, especially the swimming pool. The views from the balconies across Tucson are magnificent particularly at sunrise, I'd recommend this house to anyone.

We planned a family vacation to Tucson and had 6 people together in this house in March/April 2007. The house itself, along with the property and views, is absolutely breathtaking!!! We had everything we could want and were still far enough away to enjoy the natural beauty of Southern Arizona. We definitely plan on staying with you again. Thank you!

This is a gorgeous very private livable house with multiple patios and a private pool all with great city views. Very close to town. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be going back for another vacation.

"May, 2003: We wanted you to know we had such an enjoyable stay at your beautiful home. It was a very cozy and peaceful place and we had great afternoon siestas! The location was perfect for early morning desert hikes, looking at bird life and star gazing on the patio...We would definitely return to Tucson but have been spoiled by our introduction to the area since we had such a beautiful base to explore from! Thanks again and please enjoy the maple syrup--made by our neighbors. We're taking home great memories! Beth and Brad"
