Historic 18th century country farmhouse on 150 private acres w/large pond and mtn. views. Now restored, the house was formerly a stop along the old stage coach route and a working farm. Spectacular views of the Vermont Taconic mountains to the west, Danby Peak to the South, and the Green mountains and Killington/Pico Peaks to the East. Easy access to Vt. Route 7 about six minutes away.

Amenities include remodeled bathrooms and kitchen (fully equipped w/washing machine, dryer, microwave, dishwasher), as well as satellite TV. This home and it's location offers something for everyone, with easy access to major ski areas (30 mins. to Killington, Okemo, 45 mins. to Stratton, Bromley), towns (Rutland/Manchester/Dorset), museums, marble quarries and much more or simply relax at home to enjoy the quiet/wood burning stove and terrain for hiking/biking/horse back riding/cross country skiing.

S. of Rutland City (1/2 hr north of Manchester) off Rt 7 in Clarendon Vt., this fully restored Mtn. country home offers easy access to major ski areas (30 mins to Killington, Okemo, 45 mins to Bromley, Stratton) but also 200 wooded and meadow acres with spectacular views for hiking, mtn. biking, or cross country skiing. Relax at the farmhouse by a cozy fire in winter, or by the pond for great swimming in summer -- the farmhouse is well suited to meet a variety of needs.
