Chalet located on 140 acres, truly a 'nature lover's paradise'. The acreage consists of open and wooded land with scenic nature pond. a 'quaking' bog and miles of nature/x-country trails. Snowmobile trail (VAST corridor #12) crosses property. Living/dining room with electric fireplace, satellite TV, DVD/VCR, library and games. Fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms with posturepedic beds, 2 baths, large deck with gas grill and furniture over double carport. Drilled well water is tested, excellent for drinking. Eight miles from Montpelier, the State Capital, with many fine eating establishments including the New England Culinary Institute and the nationally acclaimed Wayside Restaurant. The Maple Corner store and deli is two miles away. Many Vermont attractions, State Parks, lakes, ponds and scenic vista's are close by. The Morse Farm Sugarworks and cross-country ski touring center is just 6 miles down the road. Close to 7 major ski areas. Brochure upon request. Children welcome.
