This is a charming cottage on one of the most exclusive hills surrounding Florence. It has a bedroom area, a living room area, a separate eat-in kitchen and one full bathroom. This cozy independent house sits on a beautiful property set within farm fields, vineyards, and olive trees, just a 5-minute car ride (20 minute walk downhill) to the old walls of the city (Porta Romana Square is the old main entrance to the city). The house sits on a spectacular setting with incredible views of the surrounding hills. The large swimming pool and large gardens are shared with other families who live in the spacious gated property. This house has its own private back-yard. Free wi-fi. A/C. All this in the middle of the Tuscan country (think vineyards and olive trees) only 1.5 mile from the doors of Florence (Porta Romana, San Frediano). Ideal place for travelers with a car. Cabs downtown are about 15 euros for a 15 minute ride to the Duomo. Restaurants, shops, grocer are all in Piazzale Porta Romana.
