Located in the Mad River Valley, you are only 5 to 15 minutes from three great ski mountains; Sugarbush, Mount Ellen and Mad River Glen. Other activities in the Mad River Valley include the sports center, golf - a Robert Trent Jones Sr. course, soaring, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, restaurants, and movie theater, as well as Warren Falls, a favorite local swimming hole. This house was a gem!
We spent two great weeks there and wished we didn't have to go home. The house was large, which was perfect for two families to share and still feel like we all had enough room. The 33 acres around the house were great for short walks, staring at the frogs in the pond, and even discovering the brook in the valley. We saw deer walk by every day. We even had a wild turkey family sighting and watched a large fox stroll by! The kids loved the playground off the side of the house and rolling down the hill. The views of the mountains were spectacular! The kitchen was well-stocked and we made homemade ice cream with the ice cream ball. We had fun with the pool table and one of the adults in our family took advantage of the sauna (he's a sauna nut and the summer heat didn't deter him)! Perry was terrific in answering all questions, a pleasure to talk to, and extremely helpful.

I highly recommend renting this house and we hope to rent this lovely house again in the future!!! Thanks for a great vacation!

Every year our family picks a mountain for a week skiing and being that we have 12 people to please it isn't easy to accommodate everyone’s needs and space. Well one thing I can say is you won’t be disappointed with this home. The house has a great layout for a big group to be together and still having room for each of their own activities i.e. board games, puzzles, and cards while others can just enjoy the fire. We liked the upstairs so much that we didn’t even use the downstairs with the pool table.
When we search for a house to rent there are several key features that all skiers request a boot room, hooks for bibs and jackets as well as a place to hang the skis, which this house accommodates with easy. We also look for convenient access to the mountain and being only a little over 2 miles from the base lodge taking the back roads this house not only scores well for location but also avoids the traffic on the main access road. All in all we had a great time and I will put this home on the top of my list when heading to the Warren area again.

This was a real treasure that we chanced upon on the internet!! Perfect house in a perfect location...the views are just spectacular! The layout is great for families to hangout and the pool table is a real plus! The kids were amply entertained! The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus and make our stay so painless. We had a fabulous weekend and will definitely be back soon! It was a pleasure to deal with Perry as well, which added to the overall positive experience.

This house is perfect Vermont! We had a
golf weekend at Sugarbush Golf Resort.
This house is ideal for a weekend get-
away (or longer). The layout of the
house allows for plenty of sleeping
space and room for entertaining/hanging
out. Perry is a great and very
accomodating host and owner. Without
doubt I would recommend this house and
plan on renting again.
