In Madrid old city centre, the apartment is located on Mayor Street, a few meters from Puerta del Sol and next to one of the entrances to the Plaza Mayor and the Mercado de San Miguel. Ideal location for those wanting to know the city, close to major museums and tourist attractions like the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral. Places like the Gran Via and Plaza of Spain and pedestrian areas with shops open every day of the week. In the neighborhood are many restaurants and taverns where you can enjoy the local cuisine and tapas.
The apartment is distributed in a room with a balcony overlooking Mayor street, a bedroom with double bed, kitchen and bathroom with shower. There are wooden floor throughout the apartment. Distribution and equipment: Area 40 m2. It is furnished with: double bed, 2 bedside tables, wardrobe, dining table with 4 chairs, fold-out couch, coffee table, display cabinet for dishes, TV, Internet WI-FI, air conditioning / heating, fridge-freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, dishes, coffee maker, toaster and all kitchen appliances for a home.
The apartment is on the third floor of a historic building without lift.
This vacation rental is very close to Puerta del So. From the window you can see the street below. Very comfortable, very, very clean. Good for a couple. You are in walking distance of everything. David the manager is outstanding. If you need anything just email him. He is very prompt with answers to your questions.
We were completely impressed and pleased with this apartment. It is perfectly located, near shops, plazas, sights and public transit. Our concerns that it would be noisy as a result were abated by the fact that it is air conditioned and has new windows. It has been tastefully renovated and it is likely the cleanest apartment we have encountered on our European trip.
Excellent communication with the owner.. My wife, whose standards in these matters exceed my own, had only favorable remarks. We were fully satisfied.

Great apartment in Madrid centre, recently refurbished, and very comfortable at only 5 minutes walk from Plaza del Sol... the shopping district and also near (on the other side of the street !) to a "useful" supermarket and the Mercado San Miguel (one of the best places for tapas in Madrid).
We'll definitely book it again when we'll go back !!!
PS: don't forget to try the Italian restaurant Grazie Mille at n°31 on the same street.. Delicious !!
We loved our stay in this lovely apartment. We had our daughter with us and it was perfect for our family.
All prior communication with the owner before arriving in Madrid was very prompt, professional and precise. The actual apartment itself is beautiful and very well equipped. The apartment is well located in the city center with grocery stores, restaurants and cafes nearby. Everything is reachable by walking.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit Madrid.
Wir verbrachten 7 wunderschöne Tage in Madrid. David hat uns bei der Ankunft schon erwartet, die Abwicklung ist unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist top, super modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und hat eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage ist super, in 2 min. ist man in la Puerta del Sol. Ich kann das Apartment sehr empfehlen.
