Built new in 2000 and Located on All Sports lake Twin Lake, this furnished home with optional pontoon boat and central air is only 10 minutes to downtown Muskegon, Cedar Point's Michigan Adventure Amusement Park and 30 minutes to the Port City Princess, Lake Michigan beaches and over a dozen public golf courses. Very open floor plan and five ceiling fans will make a cool vacation. Very kid friendly with a deck and large windows to allow adults to keep an eye on the young ones from the home. The fire pit will make for great family memories. Twin Lake has a sandy bottom and bass and pan fish. We have 60 feet of private frontage and No Extra Charges for Cleaning Between Visitors or Sales Taxes. We are on the quiet side of the lake only about 170 yards to an island perfect for all to play on. We average 50-60 percent repeat renters every year and lots of good comments. We have a Weber grill and our place is only a short walk to public park. A great place to build family memories.

Twin Lake is an inland all sports lake with excellent swimming, fishing and its own private island less than 200 yards away. Michigan Adventure, Which seems to expand every year, is only ten minutes away and you will want to spend a day either going to the pristine Lake Michigan beaches or watching a Lake Michigan sunset on the Port City Princess.

Notes: Five quality queen beds, Central air; dock; pedal-boat & rowboat are included. Although we call this our cottage, there is a good amount of quality in this home built in 2000. We have oak hardwood floors, 9 foot ceilings, and solid core doors throughout. There is a boat launch a couple of blocks away and you can keep a boat for your week at the dock. We do not recommend boats over 18 feet or deep V boats.

Our cottage built in 2000 with optional 20 foot pontoon boat at a reasonable weekly rate is sure to make a memorable vacation. Every year we have very good comments that it is clean upon arrival and how nice it is. Horse shoes and a fire pit are other features I failed to mention. Muskegon, with its proximity to Lake Michigan, is not as hot as many areas of West Michigan. 4 of the 5 beds were bought new in 2005 or after. We had most of the place repainted in 2006 and a nice propane Weber grill assures you great cookouts. Unlike some owners our weekly price has no taxes and we pay for the housekeeper between visitors.

Great Vacation Week

We had a family vacation with the kids and grandkids, and all had a wonderful time. The house was comfortable, and clean. Yard was small, but again comfortable. Was nice to be able to see the grandkids fishing from the dock from inside the house. Even though it was cool outside, didn't keep the guys from fishing/boating and snorkeling. Not far from stores, but very quiet and serene. Went from Muskegon to Silver Lake easily.

Comfortable home with everything you need

Our family from age 7 - 85 had a great time at the cottage. The weather was perfect.
We had a great time swimming, bicycling around the lakes in the area, playing tennis at the nearby park and fishing on the lake. The pedal boat was good and the rowboat with the addition of the trolling motor was a god send. We caught numerous bass, bluegills and even captured (and released ) a turtle and some frogs.
Everyone had a great time,, especially the kids who loved it and I caught my first 2 fish ever. It was loads of fun and incredibly relaxing. The beds were comfortable and we really only needed the A/C one day-the ceiling fans kept every room nice and cool along with the breeze coming in the windows from the lake. Everything was just like the description-clean, well-maintained, accurate listing of amenities. Close to Russ' restaurant (family), Chinese restaurant, Pizza places , fast food, Meijer's grocery etc...Michigan adventure is only 10-15 minutes away for a great time. We would gladly rent this cottage again. Check it out and you will be glad that you did.
p.s. The porch swing on the deck was also a great surprise that we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a fantastic experience.

Perfect Summer Vacation

We spent 4th of July week in this home. It was perfect! It was great just sitting on the dock and watching the fish and turtles swim around. The house is in excellent condition - super clean, the sand beach was a lot of fun for the kids, and the neighbors were really nice. And, the fireworks were the best we've seen in a really long time. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Fabulous Cottage Terrific lake

I would highly recommend this cottage. It is clean, spacious, well decorated in a fishing/lake theme. The setting is perfect. Family spend time with us fishing, kids swimming, playing in the sand, paddle boating, BBQ'ing and sitting by the firepit having smores in the evenings. Even when we had rain one day the house handle visiting family and kids for dinner and games. We will be back and other family members now want to rent this for there own get-a-way. Beautiful sunsets, sunrises and skies at night!

Fabulous week on Twin Lake

We just returned a week or so ago from this cottage. We had a mini family reunion here. We put all the kids (only 3) in one room and both sets of parents got their own room. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The kids loved playing in the sand, exploring the island, rowing around in the rowboat, fishing, and swimming. We loved the location. Twin Lake is in an area of 4 lakes very close together. I loved finding my way around the lakes on my daily walks. We were close to Muskegon - shopping, Lake Michigan and Michigan's Adventure. We also spent some time garage saleing. Our girls loved the county park down the road as in option for swimming, playing on the playground and playing tennis. This cottage was everything we expected and more. We would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a great week!!!
