This Lake Tahoe vacation rental home is located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, and on the famous Incline Village Championship Golf Course (designed by Robert Trent Jones), this home is perfect for either a winter or summer vacation. It is conveniently located for skiing at 11 ski areas, golfing at more than 20 golf courses, water sports, mountain sports, or gambling (Hyatt Lake Tahoe is less than a three minute drive. The closest skiing is five minutes away, and the closest golfing is a 200-yard walk to the pro-shop. We also provide access to DSL high speed internet, wireless or Ethernet. Our home is one of the nicest Lake Tahoe vacation rentals that you will find around.
The home is also easy and safe to drive to when there is snow on the road, as the terrain of the neighborhood is relatively flat and the roads are plowed often. For summer vacationers, it is: a mile and a half walk (or drive) to Lake Tahoe; a five minute walk to grocery shopping and dining; and within a thirty minute drive from eleven golf courses that offer some of the most scenic and challenging golf in the West. Do you have a boat? If so, we can probably arrange for you to use a buoy. The location is convenient to the many activities of Tahoe, yet it is quiet and private. And, we've recently installed a Hot Spring Spa!
The home has a magnificent view of the 18th Tee, 17th green, and the fairway of the most photographed hole and the signature hole of Incline, the 16th. The setting is particularly nice during the summer, when you can enjoy the two large decks for relaxing, dining, or cocktails at sunset. This home offers the best that Lake Tahoe and Incline Village has to give.
Recent upgrades to our home include: a new kitchen with granite counter tops, refinished hardwood floors, and new appliances; three completely renovated bathrooms, with new everything - granite counter tops, tile floors, new tubs and showers, new toilets, and new fixtures; new carpet throughout the house; and 100% new furniture. The interior has also been repainted.
There are two very large living areas - a large living room with an open-hearth fireplace, and a large family room with a beautiful wood-burning stove; there are three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and additional sleeping capacity in the large master bedroom and in the family room. It will easily accommodate 10 persons. There are also two large decks overlooking the golf course. We provide a VCR, DVD, two large screen TVs, a stereo system, a C/D player, a well stocked library, a telephone answering machine, and access to a high speed wireless (or ethernet) DSL line.
We provide linens and electric blankets for your convenience and comfort. And for your dining enjoyment, we provide spices, an enormous assortment of cooking accessories and appliances; a microwave oven, place settings for 10, wine glasses for 10, a propane BBQ, and a coffee maker. It is a beautiful, ready-to-be-lived-in home. And, don't forget the Hot Spring Spa!
Additional Rental Information:
A $500 security deposit plus the full amount of the rent ($500 plus rent, calculated based on the above rates) is due 45 days before the rental period. The balance of the security deposit will be returned to you within 45 days from the end of your rental period (usually a few days after we receive our telephone bill to confirm that you have or have not made long distance telephone calls). The cost of cleaning the home will also be withheld from the security deposit.
Early booking is encouraged in order to reserve a preferred date. The rates expire on 12/31/09.
Smokers and animals are not allowed on the property. The carpets are new and of a light color, so please bring slippers, as we prefer no shoes in the house. Parking is available for four or five cars. Snow removal of the parking area is taken care of by a plow service. The lady who cleans our house has worked for us for nearly 15 years. Her rates are very reasonable, $24/hour, and she normally spends four or so hours cleaning the entire house. A complete instruction sheet and a key to the house will be mailed a week before your scheduled arrival.
We built this home in 1982 and completely remodeled it in 2000 (and continuing to do so). It is our second home where we live for six months a year and rent it when we are not around. It is kept like a true home, not a rental crash pad! You will love it. The photo (taken in Portofino) is of our recent tandem trip in Italy, where Leo's family lives. We are avid cyclists and golfers.

Beautiful setting with views of a beautiful, white water, creek, and our course view is of the signature holes (#6,7,8,9). With two large living areas, a spa, two decks, a wood stove (Thompson) and an open heart fire place it is more than cozy during the winter. You'll love it.
The setting is wooded and private with an open view to the golf course. Access during the winter is very easy, as you need not have a four wheel drive. We are walking distance to shopping (10 minutes), a two minute drive from Diamond Peak Ski area, and 400 meters from the Golf Pro Shop (for golf or sledding during the winter). And, we have plenty of parking.
