Basecamp is a stunning post and beam home located on the west shore of Mere Point, six miles south of Brunswick's downtown. The house is open and spacious with hardwood floors, cathedral ceiling, and extensive glass. It features a professional kitchen with every amenity and seating at a granite-topped island. Upstairs is a skylit bathroom and a lofted second bedroom/study space. Outside, a large deck overlooks the water and dock.

Off-Season Rental: Each year, one tenant is privileged to rent Basecamp for the off-season. This is offered as a traditional monthly lease, where the tenant pays utilities, etc. It is very inexpensive ($1,000 a month), and a great way to try out living on the Maine Coast in the fall, winter and spring. In the past the renters have been visiting college professors - who just needed a place for the school year; business folks - who were on temporary assignments; travelling nurses, and, increasingly, people who want to try out living here before they commit to buying a home in the area.
