This pretty three-bedroom Spanish-style villa has elevated views across the valley to the ancient sea port of Palamos, and the Mediterranean sea beyond. It is secluded and has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an American-style fully-fitted kitchen (with large fridge and freezer, ceramic hob, full oven and dishwasher), and a spacious lounge with air-conditioning for summer, and a wood-burning stove (brilliant at Christmas). There is a large covered balcony with views over the front garden to the hills beyond - ideal for al-fresco dining. The accommodation is all on one level, with French doors that lead straight onto the patio area by the pool - perfect for a relaxing holiday. The villa has off-road parking for two cars, and has Mediterranean-style gardens with palm trees and agave's. There are terraces all round the property. In all, the gardens extend to about a quarter of an acre.

The villa is situated at the head of a quiet cul-de-sac on a small urbanisation at the very heart of the Costa Brava. It is a 5 min drive to the local blue-flag beach at St. Antoni, and two minutes to the old town of Calonge with it's weekly Thursday market. Calonge is well known for it's Castle, medieval Easter market and classical musical festivals throughout the summer, also it's permanent exhibition of paintings and handicrafts. There is a well-stocked supermarket within walking distance. The long white sandy beach at St. Antoni de Calonge has many reasonably priced restaurants & shops. There are good restaurants within walking distance of the Villa. The seaside towns of Platja d'Aro and San Feliu de Guixols have a lively nightlife. The drive to Tossa del Mar is stunning. The Salvador Dali museum in Figueres has to be seen at least once. The villa is well served by Girona Airport (30 min) & Barcelona Airport (60 min). Ryanair, Easy-jet and BmiBaby all have daily flights

Notes: A free welcome pack is included. There are 6 reclining high-back chairs for outside dining, and 4 sunbeds for lounging by the pool. The accommodation is all on one level, making it ideal for younger and older guests. There are steps up to the front entrance, with access to the rear of the property by a pathway with a gentle slope and fewer steps. The gardens are very private and fully enclosed, making them safe for children. Parents should keep an eye on their children at all times, particularly when using the pool. The pool and it's terrace can easily be seen from the lounge. The pool is 9 metres by 4.5 metres, and is shallow at one end. Linen and towels are provided, and are changed once a week. You will need to bring beach towels. More information is available on our website, please ask. We use local agents, who speak Spanish, French, and, of course, English.

Perfect place to enjoy life and summer!

If you want to stay in a place where you can really relax and feel like you are a part of spanish people- you should travel to Casa Canyella. The surrounding is peaceful and local, the view to the bay is just something I could look at all day and especially at night. People are nice and helpful at Calonge, it's a small village but absolutely a place worth seeing.
Casa Canyella is a lovely villa and the owners have made a lot of work so that we visitors can just enjoy our stay! The Villa is big enough for six persons to feel like everyone has their own space. There is everything you need on a holiday- you can barbeque or make food indoors, if it's raining (it does that sometimes also in summer) you can listen to the music or just look at the seaside and the wonderful sunsets!
We did enjoy our stay at Casa Canyella, we hope you do that too !!!

Fantastic Villa in a beautiful location!!

We have recently returned from our second stay at this villa and can most definately recommend it! The villa itself is spacious and feels like a real home from home, providing you with all you need for a comfortable stay (so much so we still haven't managed to eat out on either of our stays!). The grounds are lovely and offer privacy especially around the pool area which ensures a most relaxing stay. The pictures on the site really don't capture the ambience and quality accommodation provided.

The maintenance and cleaning of the villa are kept to the highest standards by Peter and Jan who are both a wealth of knowledge and good company whilst remaining discreet.

We hope to return again next year and have recommended the villa to our friends and family.... enjoy!!

Lovely Villa

Our family of 5 stayed here and found it to be a lovely clean spacious villa with good size pool looked after by local English which were welcoming and helpfull, we had hired a car from the airport which helped to get about and the villa is set high up so was needed to get shopping from local supermarkets that werent to far away. There is good waterparks not to far away which is great for the kids and local towns and beaches. We had good instructions of how to get there from the airport.The only let down was we were charged for a sunbed which was broken only when sat on and it was a old style one that was purely brittle in the sun, to me this is not what i would charge breakage for.
However i would recomend this villa as it is good value for money and a lovely location .
