Situated at the head of a quiet cul-de-sac on a small urbanisation at the very heart of the Costa Brava, the villa is a 5 min drive from our local blue-flag beach at St. Antoni, and two minutes from the old town of Calonge with it's weekly Thursday market. Calonge is well known for it's Castle, medieval Easter market and classical musical festivals throughout the summer. It also has a permanent exhibition of paintings and handicrafts. There is a well-stocked supermarket within walking distance.
Sant. Antoni de Calonge, with it's long white sandy beach, has many reasonably priced restaurants & shops. There are good restaurants within walking distance of the Villa. The seaside towns of Platja d'Aro and San Feliu de Guixols have a lively nightlife.
The drive to Tossa del Mar is simply stunning. The Salvador Dali museum in Figueres has to be seen at least once.
The villa is well served by Girona Airport (30 min) & Barcelona Airport (60 min). Ryanair and Easy-Jet have regular flights.
Other Activities: There are many local festivals including many international Jazz festivals, Seafood - 'Gamba de Palamos' and Sant Feliu de Guixol's 'blue-fish' festival etc.
