General information on the apartment:
The apartment is tastefully decorated and uncluttered, making it ideal for holidays. The main bedroom has a king size Spanish style bed and the 2nd bedroom, has two single extra long beds. There are two sofas in the lounge, that provide ample seating.
The apartment caters well for all the family, with indoor and outdoor games and various films on DVD. Eating outside is a pleasure thanks to the large terraces, the large table and the awning to protect you from the sun.
In terms of appliances you will find most of what you would expect to find in a family home. The apartment also has its own car-port just a few metres from the property.
Outside of the apartment you have the choice of two communual pools , one of which has amazing views of the sea and mountains. Both the pools are close to the apartment. You will also be able to enjoy the wonderful gardens, which have been professionally landscaped and include a range of impressive trees and plants.
Eating out:
The are several restaurants only 800 metres from the apartment and many, many more in the towns of Estepona, Casares, Sabinillas and Puerto Duquesa. On the way to Casares, Manilva, Estepona and Gaucin there are a number of Spanish Venta's serving local Spanish food.
If you fancy going further out then Sotogrande is 20 minutes drive, Benahavis 30 minute and Marbella and Puerto Banus are 40 mins away and all offer a large variety of restaurants and bars. Both Marbella and Puerto Banus are a shoppers paradise, offering the opportunity to purchase all the latest fashionable brands.
Leisure activities :
The Selwo adventure park in Estepona is a great day out and is only 15 minutes drive. There are aqua parks in Algerciras and Mijas. A 30 minute drive to Gibraltar (park up outside border!)is a popular day out. While there you can go on a tour of the rock and see the famous apes,caves and views and/or take a boat trip to see the Dolphins. The shopping is also very good and so are the prices.
Another fabulous day out, is a trip to Ronda, which takes approximately 1 hour from our apartment. On the way you will pass through some wonderful Pueblo Blanco's (White moorish towns). Ronda really is an amazing experience and its not surprising to hear that it was a great favourite with Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles
Golf:
The apartment is ideal for golfers due to its location. Within a few mins you can reach Dona Julia, Finca Cortesin and Casares golf. A few mins more and you can drive to Duqeusa golf (Robert Trent Jones) and Estepona golf. Another 15 minutes West and you will reach Sotogrande, San Roque, Alcaidesa, La Canada, Almenara and Valderrama. Go East 15-20 mins and you will come to Flamingos, Atalaya and El Paraiso. Special long weekend rates can be arranged for the months Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Nov and Dec.
