I Love the great outdoors of Colorado, just like you will too at my awesome mountain get away. My cabin is a complete home with everything you need. I understand that pets are part of people's families so call me or email about your pets.
Brrian Morphew purchased this house in 2002
A newer home set in the Beauty and privacy of the Colorado Mountains with great access to recreational activities.
No neighbors, peacefulness and 70 degrees all summer long! Easy access to everything that is great about the Colorado Outdoors.
My fishing party had a great stay at this home. When we first stepped into the place we were satisfied with our choice of lodging, but we were blown away when we walked up to the second level. At was stylish and a great open area to prepare meals, hang out, and relax at the end of a long day of fishing.
Stayed here with a group of friends last winter and we LOVED it. The house had everything we needed; bedding, towels, a well equipped kitchen. The owner was fantastic! The house provided a very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. It did not feel "rented" at all, it was like we were staying at our Uncle Keith's Cabin! We can't wait to go back. (Not too sure about nearby attractions, all we did was lounge around and sled down the driveway).
Stayed here last winter with some friends, and we are definitely making this an annual retreat. This place is spacious and comfortable, with everything you need. It's so nice not to have to waste car packing space with items that are provided for you here (cookware, towels, etc). It's in a beautiful area that is easily accessible yet feels remote enough to be a getaway. Friendly owner, responsive and saw to our needs. This is a great price for the size and location.
Our group took over this cabin last winter, and we can't wait to go back. The cabin itself is full of character, with quirky animals at every turn (my personal favorite was the fox downstairs). The fully-stocked kitchen and provided linens make for a comfortable stay, and the large jacuzzi tub in the master bath is a nice addition after a cold day playing in the snow. The owner is very accommodating and helpful, and was clearly concerned with our ultimate satisfaction. Highly recommend!
Stayed here for a winter escape with a few friends and had a great time. The location is ideal for hiking, atv's and access to skiing in Breckenridge. It was great to have a kitchen full of cooking utensils, laundry, and even plenty of firewood. We especially enjoyed the mountain character of the cabin with all of the hunting trophies and decoration. I'd highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a quiet stay.
My wife & I along with our two kids(10-17) spent a week at the cabin. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place for you.Complete privacy and peace & quite.Hamock was to die for.Central location for great trout fishing, trail hiking;white water rafting & jeeping rentals in Beuna Vista. Travel over Boreas pass from Como to 5 star resort area of Breckenridge(can be done easily in a car) and back over Hoosier pass(blacktop)to Fairplay. Also don't fail to go to the old ghost town of Saint Elmo to feed the hundreds of chipmunks & see the hundreds of hummingbirds & on the way back stop at Mount Princeton or one of the other hotsprings.Great area and the cabin is a great basecamp & Brian is a great host.
Great access for Hunting. Plan a family get away, or visit Hot Sulpher Springs. Gambling close by at Cripple Creek.
