Offering two luxury apartments, One for 4-6 and the other 8 guests

Casale Margaritta is a very handsome, restored farmhouse overlooking the pretty Val di Chio and beyond. Surrounded by the rich natural beauty of rolling hills, vineyards, stone farmhouses and countless olives.

The property is divided into two independent and private luxury apartments. - comfortable and well-equipped and retaining lots of old charm. Everything is offered at high level - the renovation being completed in May 2012 to reflect the higher requirements of today's travelers. The larger apartment has 4 large spacious bedrooms - each with full ensuite bathrooms. The sitting room is beautifully appointed and the separate large dining area has a large dining table and views to the garden. The kitchen has everything you might need to make you perfectly at home.

The garden apartment is very lovely having two spacious and bright bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms, large sitting room, dining room and full kitchen. Everything just so...

Outside are lovely gardens and Tuscan scenery and vegetation. Lots of olive groves and some beautiful private walks surround the property. The focal point though is the really beautiful and spacious pool. It set below the villa and offers some incredible views of the Tuscan countryside and is totally private for the Villas use.

For Larger groups, the whole villa - offering 6 bedrooms plus additional accommodation via sofa bed,. This villa has a really lovely position 15 minutes to Cortona, and within easy reach of many of the famous hill towns of Tuscany - Montepulciano, Pienza, the Chianti region, Siena, Arezzo and more.

Perfect and Lovely Villa for our Family Reunion

I stayed for two weeks at Margarita with my two sisters and our families to celebrate my 50th. It was our first trip together for a very long time, and we wanted to make it as special and memorable as possible.

From the moment we arrived we felt comfortable and welcome and knew our two weeks here were going to be wonderful. We had the two bedroom apartment and my sisters family had the four rooms above. Lots of space for us all and, room too for our private moments. The gardens, are new, but very charming and a lovely way to start the day, doing a little deadheading of the geraniums en route to the pool

The rooms are very large and each having its own bathroom made it quite luxurious. THe very large sitting rooms, the dining room and patios were all very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we could possibly ask for.

The manager,Terry did everything he could to make our stay pleasant, and a highlight of the trip was the cooking lesson he arranged for us - We have to say that Jonti is an excellent chef who lives in the valley, - all such fun and lots of great tips. Even Elisabeth - the best cook of the three of us, thought it marvelous. We will never forget it!

The location of the villa was perfect for us since we wanted to travel around the Tuscany region. It's closeness to Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena made great day trips for us and the local train station with fast trains to Florence gave us the opportunity to see The David and much more. More local the town of Castiglion is beautiful and not touristy - a real gem. Lots of old fashioned food shops, artisans and always a please to walk up the little hill. The family restaurants offering very good local food at remarkably good prices.

We were so pleased to have found this place - and, sad to leave. We all said that we hope to go back one day...

Beautiful setting and a very comfortable villa

Easy to say, but really, Margarita is a really beautiful property on the top of a little hill in the middle of Tuscany with fantasic views and a sense of calm.

One sweet memory falling asleep listening to the cicadas chirping and awake to the sounds of birds. We sayed in the Garden apartment - adults and one teenager. THe apartment was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the comforts of home available including free WiFi, a barbecue (wood burning style) and the awesome pool area with olive tree 'gazeebo' for shade.

There are many areas to find a private sanctuary. and the many outdoor eating areas meant that we could enjoy each others company. . Terry the translator and Enzo the owner were wonderful, - and generous (wine and fresh fruit waiting for us)

There are a few restaurants within a 10- min drive, along with many grocery stores in the main town. If you are staying here for some time, make sure sure to take terry's recommendation and take the local train to Florence - no worries of parking and it was great to return 'home' to the tranquility here. Other day trips to Montelpulciano, Pienza, Arezzo , Siena are recommended . We highly recommend villa Margarita for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the Tuscan countryside. Almost forgot, the sunsets go very well with the local wine !!
