Location, location, location! Immediately off Memorial Drive and directly next to the beginning of the Cliff Walk. 2/10 mile from 1st (Easton's) Beach, 1/2 mile walk to Bellevue Ave. (Mansions) and 3/4 mile walk to downtown Thames Street for shopping, art galleries and restaurants.

RENOVATED & EXPANDED! Lovely furnished Cape in quiet neighborhood. CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION - will be ready May 2012 for Summer rentals! The new addition to the house has added a master bedroom and bath upstairs and doubled the size of the original living room. Interior of house is updated with a new kitchen, granite counter-tops, nice flat, fully fenced in back yard with deck, patio furniture and grill area! ** SEE 'Further Details' for 'Things To Do' **

Lovely Home, Great Neighborhood: Our home sits in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood of Newport. With the beach just down the hill, you can spend a few hours there, come home for lunch and a nap, and head back down to catch the late afternoon sun.

Enjoy the evening while sitting out on the back deck, enjoying the breeze and putting your dinner on the grill while relaxing in your own little private house. And, of course - if you are in the mood for a little downtown dining fun and excitement, Thames Street is just down at the bottom of of the hill on Memorial Blvd. only 3/4 of a mile walking distance.

Tour the famous Bellevue Avenue Mansions, the Tennis Hall of Fame, shopping and much more - also within walking distance from the house.

INFANT / TODDLER / YOUNG CHILD NEEDS MET!: We have several items for you to use while staying in our home - no need to think about lugging ALL of the baby 'equipment' with you when you have an infant or toddler. We make it simple for you!

We have available for your use the following items: Peg Perrego high chair, stroller, infant bath tub, infant bassinett barely used (rocking or stationary), Graco pack-n-play, baby gates for stairs and a potty seat for those potty training.

For younger children - We even have double sided bed-guards for children not used to sleeping in a big bed!

If there is something else you think you could use, please let us know and we'll try to accommodate you.

Perfect Family Vacation

This is the perfect house for a family vacation. The layout of the house is perfect for young children. The house is located in a very family friendly neighborhood. India and Jay were so accomodating for my husband and I and our young daughter. The beautiful fenced in backyard provided plenty of play area and privacy. The beach was just a short walk down the hill and plenty of toys and beach essentials were provided. We were able to walk to Thames St. and Bellvue Ave to enjoy all that Newport had to offer. We would highly recommend this great cottage for a family looking to vacation in Newport.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
