New, custom-built vacation home on private, treed acres, 700' oceanfront, situated on peninsula in tidal bay. Gorgeous 270-degree island/ocean view. Paradise for birdwatching, walking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing. House is 1950 sq. ft. on 3 levels. Large, multi-level deck is 20' from high tide.

Only 10 minutes from Mahone Bay, 25 from historic Lunenburg, an hour from Halifax (airport) or Peggy's Cove. Near exquisite ocean beaches, fine restaurants, festivals, museums, golf.

Extras: fireplace (propane), outside 'after-swim' shower, linens included, double thermal masseur tub, deck with picnic table and benches. Electric heat, including heated floors in parts of the house, outdoor hot tub.

Enjoy the many historical and scenic sights on the historied South Shore of Nova Scotia. Mahone Bay's churches, Peggy's Cove, the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Lunenburg, Fort Pointe Ste. Marie on the LaHave River (one of the first New World settlements), exquisite Hirtle's Beach, Ovens Natural Park with its seacaves and gold, Ross Farm, the excellent Fisheries Museum in Lunenburg are within an hour's ramble by car. Day-trip to Kejimkujik National Park, Annapolis Royal, or Halifax. You'll find whale watching tours, famous Nova Scotian folk art, Inuit art, fine art, crafts, wonderful shops, Provincial and National Parks to die for!
