We especially enjoyed the windows opening to the bubbling brook running through the back of the property-- that made for great, relaxing sleep at night. Eating out on the secluded picnic table was also enjoyable.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this cottage for our visit to West Point. It was a great house right next to the Stony Lonesome Gate and extremely easy to rent through the owner. We will definitely be back.

A charming cottage with a beautiful brook in the back yard!
All the amenities of home while very cozy and rustic.
Spotlessly clean and uncomplicated rental transaction.
Not only in the immediate vicinity of West Point, four of us used the cottage as a base for our sightseeing trip of the Hudson Valley.

My family and I stayed in this adorable house from June 31th- July 8th. It is located on a darling street with friendly neighbors. I was a little nervous about staying in a house without air conditioning, but the house is in complete shade all day long, and NY nights are very cool. We used one box fan at night in the window, and we would wake up freezing. The property has a beautiful creek that runs behind it. My children and I would go down to it every morning after breakfast for a breath taking adventure. I highly recommend staying at this house over any hotel/ motel in Highland Falls. I am from the area and have been in the hotels. I will be staying in this cottage again in the future.

We enjoy the cozy cottage each time we visit West Point. Being able to provide a home away from home for our cadet and his friends makes Dr. Rand's cottage very special. It is quite comfortable, and great for cooking favoriate meals from home. This is our favoriate place to stay when we visit.
