Doc your boat, or take it out into the Bay for water skiing, tubing, or swimming off the private Fire Island beach on the ocean. Or sample some of Long Island’s primo fishing spots. Cool off at Splish Splash water park or at the Atlantis Aquarium. Visit the two State Park sites for biking, hiking, kayaking. There are three golf courses, the giant Tangier Outlet Mall, and three (3 star) restaurants nearby, as well as a children's petting zoo and local horseback riding. Take the tasting tour at Long Island's best wineries and try the organic farm stands. Walk along the private gated beach or just listen to the surf at night. Practice the piano, play croquet, hit some baseballs, or just relax on a big old swing facing the water and get reacquainted with your family.
