Bethel Woods/Museum/Airport (10 minutes) Getaway Cottage on Swan Lake with very private dock and rowboat. Large deck with gas/charcoal grill. Complete kitchen. Spiral staircase to loft with separate bath and full- mattress. Queen mattress in sectional couch. TV, VCR, stereo, local phone/cable, wood-burning stove. Spectacular views and a pair of American Bald Eagles make Swan Lake their home. New kitchen and bathroom with shower tub combination. 90 minutes from New York City.

About Rich Rowland

The Catskill Cottage was purchased last century, way back in 1996. The photo is of resident Bald Eagles overhead.

Many changes since then- www.bethelwoodscenter.org or The Original Woodstock site. Has a world class open air concert hall and museum, as well as, the Sullivan County visitors association. Please call (845) 747-4449 and request your visitors guide with map. Year-round just bring what you need for the fridge and your sheets and towels- and, Make A Memory.

Why Rich Rowland chose Swan Lake

Privacy-access to lake 25' from deck and views. Especially the American Bald Eagles that make Swan Lake their home. Fishing is great as it is a private lake. Your own rowboat and did I mention - PRIVATE dock. New -herb garden just outside the door ( basil, rosemary and thyme).

What makes this cottage unique

The spiral staircase to the loft is one reason I purchased the cottage. The Time Warner Cable, wireless internet, cable, DVD and telephone - the entry code, internet password and telephone number are supplied upon securing your parties dates. The telephone is for (911) or on a lighten note, pizza orders.

Do not forget the pooch- the pet fee is $100 per pet.

The perfect cottage on a lake

We spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful cottage and were thrilled at how quiet and peaceful the lake is. You can't find a place more perfectly situated right on the water with a dock and rowbout right off your own private deck. The cottage is nestled in the woods, but still has ample parking and easy access. We sat on the deck sipping coffee and watched birds feeding inches away from us. The cottage itself has everything you need for comfort but never takes you away from nature as the picture windows allow for a contstant view of the lake. The property owner is extremely accomodating. If you want to get away from it all to find peace, quiet and beauty, but still want all the comforts of home, this is the ideal property.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
