A fabulous, 130sqm, air-conditioned sub-penthouse, luxuriously furnished and equipped, you cannot fail to be impressed.

Situated on the fifth floor of this imposing glass-clad development, with porter, lift and 2 private balconies, it overlooks a private landscaped garden, canal basin and London's famous city skyline.

The vast lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows, a designer open-plan kitchen with every mod-con and a glass breakfast bar. Dark wooden floors, under-floor heating and neutral decor throughout, creates a welcoming home-away-from-home.

The bedrooms are both large doubles with their own access to a further balcony. The bathrooms feature Villeroy and Boch suites, rain shower heads and black natural stone.

Furnished and equipped as you might your own home, there are TV/DVDs in both bedrooms, with a 54' plasma, DVD, iPod dock and surround sound in the living room.

You will quite simply love the location of this sub-penthouse in central London. Located on the 5th floor and overlooking a superb, tranquil canal basin, you will also have use of the landscaped communal gardens.

Angel, the centre of the vibrant and affluent Islington area, is a simple 5 minute walk away. Pavement cafes, restaurants, boutiques, cocktail bars and night-life are in abundance. Whatever you're looking for, Angel certainly has it.

A short walk in the opposite direction sees the height of London cool. Shoreditch is undoubtedly the very best place to enjoy the amazing night-life of the 'Real London'. Late bars, typical English pubs, cocktail bars, nightclubs, art galleries, boutiques and famous eateries are everywhere you look, with Jamie Oliver's restaurant being only a short stumble from the front door.

The Indian restaurants and weekend market of Brick Lane , the fragrant Columbia Road flower market and relaxed Exmouth Market are all close by, as are 2 tube stations - making the West End's tourist attractions a five minute tube or cab ride away, before returning to the tranquillity of your apartment.

Contemporary Oasis in Hip New Area

If you like contemporary, clean, sleek décor, high ceilings, lots of light and a large spacious great room, this apartment is for you! The layout perfectly accommodates four people with two good-sized bedrooms including individual patios, comfy queen beds and two spacious bathrooms with plenty of storage. We found all appliances to be almost new, of high quality and easy to use. The AC in each room worked great, and we actually needed it during one especially sunny week in September!

Location: We loved the location because it wasn’t in touristy (overpriced) central London. Since the Angel and Old Street tube stations (Northern line Zone 1) are only 8 minutes walk and the bus stop is practically at the door, we tended to go into the city center during the day for sightseeing and return to Islington for dinner. There are a plethora of excellent (reasonably priced) restaurants, jazz bars, and pubs filled with young families, professionals and students in the neighborhood. If you prefer to cook, grocery stores (mini-marts, Marks and Spence, Sainsbury, Tesco) are nearby. Walking home at any hour through a quiet residential area with families out and about always felt completely safe.

Support Staff: Kalvin, the owner, is available by phone, text, email and usually answers every message within minutes. He provides a map of the area, recommendations for grocery shopping, restaurants, pubs and personally visited us twice (during the three weeks) to make sure we were okay. Tina, the house keeper, is a jewel. She not only makes the apartment sparkle every week, but rescued us on the day we departed. Our reserved mini-cab did not arrive. She spotted us stranded on the street, called a friend’s cab company and got us to Heathrow just in time for our flight. We will be eternally grateful!

Overall, this apartment is one we looked forward to returning to after a long day of sightseeing (always felt like a breath of fresh air and calmness). The patio overlooking the canal with kayakers and wild life is a great place to have cocktails before dinner. And the kitchen is perfect for breakfast and light dinners. We have stayed in apartments all over the world and this one ranks among the best.

What an experience!

2012 has been an amazing year for me so far...and one of those amazing experiences was highlighted by me staying at the luxury apartment that is called Angel Waterside.

The decor has a comtempory feel to it...it's modern and spacious with lots of character...

The mornings are great with the sun beaming through the huge windows that over looks the lake that has wildlife enjoying the scenary too.

At night the skyline is lit with the lights of the all the apartments within the area as well as the 2012 Olympic logo beaming across the sky, from one of the office buildings in Angel.

I stayed here for three weeks with a friend/student from Russia who also has praised this apartment...and would love to come back next year.

Angel is great place to stay...the area is quiet..yet busy...it has great restaurants and factilities...I felt safe walking through Angel...

And on that note I would like to say thank you Kalvin for opening your home to us you truly have an amazing apartment...your customer service was great...moveover I will be back!
