Nearby attractions: House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, The Carolina Opry, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede, Nascar Racing Park, Alabama Theater has great music and comedy, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, Ripley's Aquarium moves you through an underwater glass tunnel where you're right under 9 foot sharks. Alligator Adventure is home to 800 alligators, exotic snakes, Komodo Dragons and giant tortoises. Brook Green Gardens a 9000 acre preserve has beautiful sculptures, breathtaking gardens, a grove of 200 year old live oak trees and acres of wildlife, nature trails. Barefoot Landing is a shopping mall with 12 waterfront restaurants, offers riverboat rides on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Broadway at the Beach a shopping mall around a 23 acre lake, offers boat rides too. There are state parks, plantations, flea markets, water parks, mini golf and many, many golf courses all around.

Our home is located in beautiful Oceanside Village, Surfside Beach South Carolina. Oceanside Village is a 180 acre gated community with private beach access and a private beach parking lot. We are a two minute walk to the beach. There are bathrooms and outdoor showers at the beach for Oceanside Village guest to use, a covered gazabo too. Just around the corner is the heated , indoor, glass-enclosed pool. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are spacious and are surrounded by beautiful patios. IIn the village there is a play ground, basketball court, lighted tennis courts, a volleyball court and many fishing lakes.

Golf: Many, many golf courses all around. Golf cart rentals available.
