The 'Boat House'..FOR SALE!!

THIS PROPERTY IS FOR SALE!! A unique refurbished 1800's boat house, nestled at the head of Tarbox Cove on Westport Island in mid-coast Maine. Once a genuine working boat builder's shop and living quarters.

Sleep with the water lapping beneath you! Ground floor kitchen/ living area has large double screened doors that open onto a stone pier. Enjoy the salt air and breezes. A very special spot for people who want to be right 'on the water'. Beautiful views of the opposite shoreline, a rocky point and out to open water. A wrap-around deck is the perfect spot to relax with a book and enjoy the wonders of nature and the tidal cove. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a sitting room overlooking the water. Step out of the double doors onto a stone pier with a picnic table. Fish at high tide from the pier that extends from the Stone pier. One of the few places left in Maine that is built OVER the water!!! No Boat dockage, ramp or float and no place to launch a boat.
