Baldon House is the centre portion of a beautiful 18th Century Manor house set on the edge of the popular village of Marsh Baldon, six miles south of the historic university city of Oxford, The house is full of character and provides a wonderful holiday for the whole family. Surrounded by beautiful countryside full of walks and cosy pubs, it is the perfect getaway for peace and quiet. The seven bedroom house, blending both grandeur and charm, has many period features such as high ceilings, marble fireplaces and parque floors. There are three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, two with panoramic views over the fields to the lake and woods, two further double bedrooms, two single bedrooms and three further bathrooms. On the ground floor is a large, open-plan kitchen with breakfast room, a well-appointed living room, and a beautiful panelled dining room. Year-round, the house offers a wonderful combination of activities and relaxation. Eat al fresco on the South Lawn in the summer sun, enjoy flowers and vegetables fresh from the Walled Garden, practice your golf shots, kick a soccer ball, or have a go at croquet. Warm yourself by the Aga after a brisk walk through the woods or a row on the lake in the autumn.
