The farmhouse is located on 145 acres of land along the creek with lawns, gardens, fields & woods. It has 3 bedrooms, a den with a full size futon, eat-in country kitchen, dining & living rooms with library & a greenhouse, and a wonderful front porch overlooking the creek. Located 2 1/2 hours from New York City, it is 5 miles from NYS thruway exit 21. Nearby are Woodstock, Olana, & Thomas Cole historic sites, Bronk Museum, Hunter Mountain & Ski Windham, North Lake, City of Hudson, & local golf.

Quiet Farm - lovely porch

My family and I had a beautiful stay here. We were busy out during the days, and loved coming back here in the evenings to watch the fish jumping in the creek. For the early risers, morning coffee on the porch was also wonderful. The rooms are spacious; the quilts are lovely as well as comfy. Lots of different rooms/spaces for family members to do separate activities but also plenty of room to eat dinner or play Monopoly together.

We were sad to leave, and wished we'd had more time at the farmhouse itself.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
