Located just 25 minutes from Dundee airport, and not too far from Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports, this property offers luxury accommodation, beautiful grounds and plenty of entertainment opportunities.
The Castle boasts nine luxury bedroom suites in the main venue and two further suites in the Gate Lodge. The main castle is rich in architectural features and offers a drawing room, dining room, two games rooms, billiards room and panoramic views of the rolling countryside.
As you approach Angus Castle, the long driveway passes the Gate Lodge and rises up, showing the grand scale and charm of the Castle.
As you step through the main entrance into the impressive hallway, the reception rooms feature grand fireplaces and ornate plasterwork, yet the unique contemporary furniture and design creates a home from home feel.
For those who appreciate the finer things, a visit to Angus is a must. Angus Castle
Set in 44 acres of stunning parkland and formal gardens, Angus Castle can accommodate 18 guests in 9 bedroom suites, in the Castle with a further sofa bed available and two additional bedrooms in the Gate Lodge.
The Castle is full of surprises. On the ground floor, a huge kitchen with all modern amenities, two grand halls, a brace of sumptuous dining rooms, a bar and wonderfully grand drawing room.
On the lower ground floor, again with stunning views, lies the games rooms. Complete with billiard room, large HDTVs, Wii consoles, DVD, Sky, roulette wheel and poker table; these rooms are an aladdin's cave for technophiles.
Outside does not disappoint either, with the beautifully mature gardens, and stunning views which make a BBQ a real pleasure. Angus Castle even has its own crocodile in the gardens - well, a tree trunk cut into a seat with a crocodile engraving. Great for a family photo!
There are many interesting features in the Castle grounds, such as the stonework that is adorned with beautifully carved ropes and knots. The woods are delightful with many rare and exceptional specimens and in February the woodlands are blanketed with snowdrops.
And to add to the luxury, the owners provide beautiful luxurious Egyptian Cotton linen; bath towels and bathrobes and bathroom products by Molten Brown.
Angus Gate Lodge
The Angus Lodge is a beautiful two bedroom self catering cottage in the heart of the Angus countryside, and a magnificent example of Victorian Scottish Architecture.
It will sleep an additional 4 people in two double suites with one bathroom and lounge together with a fully equipped kitchen.
