Luxury cottage in private gardens sleeps six. Loch setting

On the East Bank of Loch Lomond, in the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park lies Dubh Loch Cottage. A truly unique, traditional Scottish cottage built in the 1750's and fully refurbished and upgraded to an exceptionally high standard by it's present owners (Scottish Tourist Board 4 star). Dubh Loch sits in an enviable position with magnificent views from every window in an acre of gardens and woodland, complete with it's own stream running through it. 3 bedrooms (1 king with full en-suite bath and shower downstairs, 1 double and 1 twin upstairs) to accommodate 6 people. 2nd full bathroom with free standing bath and separate shower. Sitting room/ dining room featuring original wooden beams and wood burning stove, 2nd sitting room, fully fitted kitchen (double oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer). Solid oak floors, full gas central heating and double glazing, satellite TV, DVD, HI-FI. All linen/towels/logs/fuel provided. Pets by arrangement.

Loch Lomond is one of Scotland's premier attractions offering peace, tranquility and the perfect escape at any time of year, yet within easy reach of Scotland's major cities (Glasgow 25 miles, Edinburgh 70 miles) and Stirling 35 miles. Enjoy watersports on Loch Lomond or stroll along it's unspoilt bays and beaches (Sallochy, one of the most beautiful bays is only a 5 minute walk from the cottage). Walk the famous West Highland Way which passes right around the Dubh Loch, climb Ben Lomond (3 miles away) or enjoy some spectacular cycling scenery. Nearby pubs and restaurants offer local produce and a welcome tipple. Close to some of Scotland's top golf courses.

A charming, cozy cottage in a great location.

This cozy cottage is charming with all the modern amenities and comforts of a much newer home. The cottage and grounds are beautifully maintained. It is within an hour's drive of the Glasgow Airport but is located near the shore Loch Lommond so you really feel immersed in the Scottish countryside. There is much to see and do within easy driving or you can simply enjoy a hike on any of the innumerable trails right out your backdoor. Also, there are several good restaurants located within about a 10 minute drive. We were two couples sharing this cottage but it was large and roomy enough to comfortably accommodate 3 couples easily. I highly recommend this rental cottage.

Notes 25% deposit secures the rental and the balance is then paid six weeks before the stay. A fully refundable damage deposit is also taken (£150).
